29markt
Evening, Does anyone have the knowledge of stripping the clutch basket off, and the sequence of shims when reasembling? The parts drawing shows 2 washers / shims at the rear of the basket, but I am told there is 4? Any help appreciated Mark Edited July 7, 2015 by 29markt
lineaway
Install the same number you remove. The whole engine is this way. There were measurements for each shaft if I remember right, so no number of shims is correct by diagram. Some bikes had 2, 3 or 4. Simple huh? 29markt
Thanks Lineaway, I only ask due to purchasing the bike after a rebuild and thinking it wasn't correct the way they had been fitted whilst I was replacing the idle gear. Cheers, Mark
