October 20, 201510 yr Author The problem I'm having is that Splat says only 2006 and up have access to +10% +20% springs. I'm going to decode the VIN number to verify what year I have. I believe its a 2005 so that just misses it. Thanks tuts Edited October 20, 201510 yr by tuts
October 21, 201510 yr What colour is the frame, if chrome it's definitely 05 or earlier. Forks changed to having damping adjustment & a cartridge insert in 1 side instead of the simple forks run from 01-05
October 22, 201510 yr Author It seems that '05 and below you cant get +10% +20% springs. I'm wondering if it might be work it to swap the forks for the newer ones, '06 and up. I'm going to look around for a set but it will probably cost too much.
October 23, 201510 yr Lookup a local spring winder and have them make new springs for you, it'll be far cheaper than replacing the forks and then fitting uprated springs.
