First Ride In 15 Years

Featured Replies

Going out on a trials bike after 15 year lay off, i am going to be a bit wobbly. any tips.

Enjoy yourself I Started again after a 25 year lay off and won the over 40 club championship !!!!!!!!the wobbly ness doesn't last long :-)

Agreed just enjoy and improve  at a pace that suits you.......good luck.

Hi, me too after 20 odd years. The basic balance and body positioning I remembered, just had to get the body to do what the brain was thinking quick enough. Just choose your battles carefully to hone the basics.

Cheers Taff

I would expect just starting with and practicing the basics is the best thing anyone with some time off could do...  That and actually practicing might help... (talking more about myself with that comment.   :rotfl: )

Fair play, glad to hear you did well, and the wife she'll get over it ! :-)

Had a good day today, got 10 sections at the little place I went to practice had a good ride on all of them, its ideal for someone who has not ridden in years..
