I have a 2015 125 Sherco here which usually runs fine , untill I was out riding yesterday and a strange crunching noise began to come from the front sprocket area, however this only occurs when I pull in the clutch in gear and attempt to push the bike forward. This also happens when I use the engine brake.

Can anybody help or suggest what may be wrong ?

Your clutch basket not come slack??

Try oiling your chain to make a difference.

Cope has the right idea, chain too tight (Too loose). Chain tensioner, wheel bearings, something rubbing? Sprocket about to break the hub?
