Stem Top Bolt Torque?

Featured Replies

No but if you look at the manual the swingarm pivot is 60 _70 nm and the stem is a similar size and function

It will be one of the higher tourqe bolts on the bike so just use your judgement

More important is the lock ring on the steering bearing , not a lot can happen even if the stem bolt comes loose ( provided you've clamped the fork legs back up

Tighten it and just keep your eye on it

Most dirt bikes state around 50-70 Nm as toneh stated. You'll be safe with that.

However, usually it takes several tries being able to balance the two nuts as far as torque without getting the steering too tight.
