Sorry no pics. But I grabbed this off the web. Mine is identical. I took out the discs and reinstalled the ring in the middle right corner. That's the ring I hooked the slide puller to.

I got it out using a lever against the dowel in the crankcase. But you can't really apply a lot of pressure.

This is my first venture into the clutch, so sorry for my ignorance. I've seen online where they're in 2 parts, but mine looks a little different, in that from the outside view, it all looks like one piece. But absolutely nothing moves. The entire assembly is stuck in there. And like I said, I even had about a 3 lb slide hammer, giving it fairly firm whacks on alternating sides. I hooked the hammer under the retaining ring with the discs out, so that I didn't risk damaging it. I'm baffled.

Remove the 10 bolds, round ring with the 10 holes, the spring, all the fingers, dont forget the inner bold with the small whole. You should be able to pull the inner clutch hup out now.

 

Should look like this. Then the outer parts should come free aswell.

 

It could be that the plates are a little bit twisted, or the clutch basket is a little worn (the plates hit the grooves), and then they might be stuck in there a little.

Sorry, I must not have explained well before. I did get all the clutch discs out before. That's how I was able to sand them and get them into spec. Then, with all of them out, I reinstalled the ring in order to have something to grab onto. Nada. I also used pry bars against the case. It just won't budge.

MM ok. Than I cant help you without seeing the bike I quess. Eventually you will need to get it loose if you kill the kickstarter gear or something.

Could you run the bike without the retaining bolt? It hasnt really got anywhere else to go with the slave cylinder up against the fingers. Might loosen it off without using leverage?

Yeah, I will remove the bolt on the next oil change. I wondered that myself, with the vibration of the motor plus the heat, if it wouldn't work itself loose.
