i just got some of that from sandifords hrc , they also sold me some filter cleaner, wether it's any good remains to be seen .I think the washing up liquid would have been the cheaper option though.

I've learned that powder coating is the only way to go .

I would think that it would clean up easy enough .

if you value your home life dont put your air filter in the washing machine!!!

One of the lads on here sneeks his air filter into his coat pocket when his missus washes his riding gear...

Just did mine again and gave the bike a good clean down. Sprayed the filter with 'Fairy Power Spary? you know the stuff for cooked on crap in your pot. Then hot water, worked a bloody treat, then used it to clean the bike. Much cheaper than the bike shop spray cleaners !!!! and leaves it smelling lovely :D

putoline do a thingy called action kit which has a tub to clean it in some cleaner and oil its fab and lasts ages cos the tub has a strainer in the bottom so all the old poo sinks to the bottom , very neat and tidy if you like that kind of thing !! and as a last thought HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET THAT BY THE MISSUS puttin the old filter int washing machine jeez i would get strung up !!!! :D
