Just bought a 2013 evo 4t...i have found a capacitor in amongst the wiring by the carb.... I can't see it on the wiring diagram... Any ideas what it does?

Looking at the 2014 schematic there's one that goes on the line from the regulator to the horn. Black wire on one side and what I think is blue and black to the other.

Cheers !... Seems I printed off an early evo wiring diagram and it doesn't show a capacitor 

It was on the wiring diagram I looked at. It smooths out the dc output from the regulator/rectifier.

I’ve noticed Beta schematics are often a year late. I guess they are tweaking the wiring right up to production but the manuals are printed ahead of time.
