I am rebuilding point in the side cub engine my original crankshaft has wear on the oil feed side so got another crank off flebay and that one same wear on the shaft where the oil feed is anything to worry about or do I need to split crank buy new shaft

Talk to someone like Chris at Meridan off road. He refurbished and rebuilds these engines daily. I have a feeling they can be refurbished.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, should be a simple job for a machinist.

Turn crank down, sleeve, and finish turn or grind to original size.

Send it to Chris at Meriden off road, he rebuilt a bottom end in my early plain bush engine and had him modify crankcase for his oil pump mod which works well and I’ve had no problems.
