Wonder if anyone can help. My mate has a 2017 factory 300 and after 5/10 minutes of riding the fan cut in then will cut in and out every couple of minutes and the engine seems a bit fluffy and you seem to get a anti freeze smell. The day after the bikes been ridden if you undo the rad cap the pressure will blow it out of your hand if not careful. He has now changed the head gasket but still seems to be the same. Does anyone have any ideas.

Id check the cylinder head O rings again,that's the only thing that would pressurise the rad to that degree.Does it have a pressure release valve in the top of the rad?if so sounds like it's faulty

If cylinder head is ok, check water flow (plastic pump rotor or plastic gear failture led to this pressure issue too)

You can easly remove pump cover on right and see pump . Try spin it with you fingers
