Correct me if I’m wrong but wiggy rode the trial 2 class in 2007 on that screaming 125 he won the championship with the year before ? If he did finish second that year then that was one hell of a result , I’m assuming he was too young to ride a full cc bike that year?

Exactly, until the rules were changed to suit the Spanish rider a certain pol tarres.....

That was the whole point of no stop though, wasnt it???? You should be asking Michaud why its not been the success he thought it would be and how it has prolonged the careers of the spanish lads

I would love to see him crack the top 5 but I think he’s had his best chance. Always thought he road best on a gg

Why would KTM have invested in Gas Gas to "... just let them die a slow death" ? Could they not have achieved that by not investing?

Beta for Miguel, Casales didn't gel with the Beta last time but they don't have a top level Spanish rider ? Beta have Toby Martin in trial 2 so maybe the younger brother is going elsewhere? Not seen anything on Kadlec quitting yet?

Why Beta?

They have Dabill, Bincaz (nothing about Dabill stopping is there?) and Martyn who will no doubt step up to TrialGP for 2020 (or 2021)

Both Gelabert brothers on the move.

Kadlec seems (obviously hard to tell) well supported within TRS and had probably his best year yet in 2019.
There’s going to be some old timers - Fuji, Raga, Fajardo, even Bou - stopping relatively soon you’d imagine (although they are still the best of the best despite their ages)

Agree with everything you said, bar Bou, if Fuji is anything to go by, Bou has at least another 7 years in him

Aniol Gelabert has signed for Vertigo for next 2 years.

Beta because they don't have a top level rider in Spain I'm suggesting. Read either here or elsewhere that Kadlec was quitting so all I'm saying here is that hasn't been mentioned since. Kadlec's done well on the TRS

Gasgas should make Cabestany an offer and get him out of retirement!

How will that help the WTC , getting  into the wtc is hard enough for younger riders to get rides,

As for riders dropping down to wt2 well that is a good thing, This  gives the younger riders a level to get too, dont beat them riders  you wont be making it in WTC

Fact=  trials is a AMATURE  sport run for WTC professionals  top riders dont want sections changed so everyone can do them we are talking about there living , Time to face the facts trials is NOT a big enough sport to fund professionals

So both Gelabert brothers have announced the end of their association with Sherco Motorcycles...

where now?

Gas Gas?

I thought both Gelabert brothers were on the move to Vertigo. Miguel in GP & presumably Aniol to give Vertigo a T2 rider.

Miguel Gelabert now confirmed Vertigo

Strong old team now

Busto and Gelabert in TrialGP

Gelabert and Gandola in Trial2

guess that only really leaves Casales for Gas Gas then unless the KTM €€€ can persuade Bou away ??

Good move for Toby and TRS

I hope so, but four manufacturers in four years can hardly be helpful for Toby trying to establish himself.
