hi all,well started putting a lighting kit on my Sherpa.along with switch,brake light etc. Am I ok using 14 AMP cable throughout? 
1st time doing this,found all info bar for wire voltages!

Mistake

A 12 volt system with 14 amp cable could handle 168 watts, that's way more than any headlight bulb you'd fit, so your all good.

Thanks.....it’s 6volt magneto

I don't think it is an exact answer but a lot of good information on 6v systems can be found when looking at old cars running 6v systems.

Summary of what I see when looking at this is that #14 wire should hold up to 15amps...
