September 12, 20205 yr Anyone found a more robust tyre beader Dunlop made them years ago out of rubber which were a lot more robust. Just split one tonight rushing to get it done !

Don't come at me if you try it and either get frustrated at it not working or end up ripping the tube. There is more of a knack to it than using a beader. When i started doing it in the 90s i didn't realise beaders existed and put up with the slight inconvenience. September 15, 20205 yr Did you lube the beader up? I cover the beader in tyre soap and put extra in the well in which I put the beader in. Makes it slide out really nicely.
