betamike
Essex rider, if you mean the silencer then stick the bracket in a vice(or grab it with mole grips)and just bend it as required.A liitle heat will make it easier i have done this to mine several times now and it hasnt broken off (yet) if you mean the mid box then im not sure what to do. totalshell
thanks for the thread, the only fault i can find with my new bike is the wheel rubbing on the silencer was going to pack the silencer mounting out with a couple of thick washers but if it'll take it i'll warm it gently and apply brute force.. unless you know better?? essex rider
i had some coils fitted in mine it pushed the exhaust right away from the wheel!!! but make sure you dont pack it out too much or otherwise it wont join properly
ruffrider
You really need to do something about this problem. I bought a 125 Techno that had a patch on the exhaust because the owner didn't remedy the problem and wore a hole in the silencer. Then, with the patch on and slightly proud of the original, the patch started wearing. I bent the silencer brackets slightly to gove some clearence. Not sure about Rev3 but on the Techno the exhaust mounts inside the frame so it can't be packed out to move it away from the wheel. Only other real option is to grind the frame mounting and silencer mountings.
ron
gents.if your tire is rubbing then you have most likely bent the subframe holding it.. typically the little rubber mount also lets you know you have bent the subframe.. cheap and easy to replace.... betamike
My silencer quite often gets bent in by being dropped on its side in a section. I did recently have to replace the rubber mount though. The sub frame is not bent though.
