August 28, 20232 yr Anyone got any tips for threading a new brake hose through the swinging arm ? Can it be done without removing the swinging arm ? Any tips appreciated
August 28, 20232 yr It goes through fairly easy without removing the swingarm, did one a few months back. Run string or wire to pull with.
August 29, 20232 yr When I did the one on our Gas Gas I just did what Lineway is saying, tied a string to one side of my current hose before pulling it and then used that to pull things back after the fact. If you already have the old hose pulled out then you could use something like a wire cloths hanger to fish a string through it? Good luck.
September 28, 20232 yr When I did this on my 2013 I had to remove the banjo from one end, I put clung film round it to stop dirt getting in the hose. It was a venhill hose but I couldn't get it through the swinging arm with the banjo on
