So the body itself has a damaged thread?  This part won't fix it? https://www.splatshop.co.uk/dellorto-float-bowl-nut.html

If not, can you run a tap into the body and clean it up?

Here's the entire carb with the BS suffix (your jetting may be different) https://www.splatshop.co.uk/dellorto-phbl-trials-carburettor.html

No, the bolt is fine, the body lost the first 3 rows of threads the bolt goes into. I didn’t have the pin that holds the float flapper seated enough and it held the bowl from seating but I didn’t notice. So it wasn’t sitting flush so I kept tightening it. Tbh I wasn’t reefing on it I had a stubby ratchet and I wasn’t giving it much. But when it skipped (almost like the ratchet missed a tooth) I knew I was in trouble.

Try eurocarb

I believe ive been talking with Robert. Not sure if he implied that I’m toast or if he had a solution. He did say the CS is discontinued which is what brought me here.

No, it's good to go, I swapped it for a Keihin out of curiosity.

If you're interested, message me, I'll strip it and send some pictures.
