200 flywheel weight ?

Featured Replies

Hey folks, couple of questions about an evo 200.

Does any size flywheel weight fit ? i.e. 250/300

Do I need a puller or does it just fit straight on ?

Sure I had another question but can't remember now.

It depends on the year, but I'm not sure off the cutoff? I had a '21 200 Factory had the external pick up, and had to get the Beta accessory heavy flywheel and change it. My dealer had the puller. Another rider had an earlier year 200, with the internal pick up. He could use a screw on S3 brand weight.

I think that the flywheel on the 2022 200 will not have the additional weight, or hole drilled to take one, my 2020 200 did not. The additional weight does make it smoother.Beta EVO 300 SS Flywheel weights.pdf

The windings are secured to the inside of the outer cover and protrude into the flywheel, so when you remove the cover the windings come out. you will need a special puller.

The weight is filtted on the back of the flywheel but it may not be driled to take a weight.  I used a weight removed from a Supersmooth 300 at a template to drill and tap the holes in the back of my flywheel (no deeper than 9mm) , then made a 200gm weight.

See picture of 300 supersmooth arrangement

Hope this helps
