simon0116 Posted February 28 Report Share Posted February 28 Fitted a electronic ignition as instructuons say. Now ty will only start by putting a drip of petrol down bore. Good spark, new petrol, clean carb, reeds look ok. Timing is 2-3mm measured with strobe. Once running rev/ rides fine. Kicks back up ok. Only tried it for 10mins running Any ideas before i put old ignition on to prove a point, or is 200 majesty timed diffent to a ty175 Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kurtas Posted March 1 Report Share Posted March 1 Are you trying to start it with the Carby choke on? Will it start once it has been started and warmed up?
