New SY owner

I just picked up a 2003 (?) SY250 on FB. It's the newest trials bike i've owned, and i'm pretty excited about it.

There were a couple mid-70's TY's in the mix, so i dig the fact this bike has a Yamaha motor.

What i need, though, is a manual or something to familiarize myself with this machine. I've struck out on the web.

I'm grateful for any advice.

Hello, my advice would be to put your chain slipper pad on the right way up. I'm guessing you are in the u.s.a . Best wishes Alan.

Yes, Pennsylvania.

I started it, shut it off, and bought it. Rolling it into the garage, it was clicking. I figured it was that obnoxious rear tire contacting something. That chain guide may be the cause. Thanks.

I've been looking through the available lit, and searching the forum.

I'm still not positive what tires to put on this bike. The giant knobbys have to go.

Are the stock rims meant for tubeless tires?

Even though this bike is 20 years old, it's light years ahead of my tl125. I've never owned anything this new.

Thanks for putting up with these noob questions.
