June 2, 200620 yr Hello i was wondering if anyone in here could assist me to find or even explain to me the magneto to cdi unit wirng harness on the fantic 243, as the ends of the wires (terminals) have been removeds and i am unsure of where the different coloured wires attatch to on the cdi unit? any assistance is greatly appreciated.
June 2, 200620 yr If it has a Ducati coil it should say on the side (in Italian) which colour wires go where: Rosso - Red, Bianco - White, Verde - Green. The second terminal on the CDI/coil marked Verde is where you connect the kill switch. There should also be another wire moulded in to the CDI which connects to the frame on one of the CDI mounting bolts. Edited June 2, 200620 yr by Grib
June 2, 200620 yr If it has a motoplat ignition, which is unlikely, there will be two wires. let me know the colours and I will tell you which fits the large and which fits the small terminal Lee
