Sadly, FF is entirely correct.

Goods from the USA are subject to import duty & VAT, plus Customs & Excise charge you for the priveledge of them charging you if you get what I mean.

However it's not all bad news

Yup..that's the way to do it.

I ordered a few things recently and to get around customs and VAT etc. the parcel was marked down as a gift....and just in case it was opened prematurely there was a card inside saying'sorry we missed your Birthday'!!??

What do they really do that's worth every penny?
