I have a 04 Raga and have removed all the road legal wiring looms etc.Could one of you GasGas experts please advise me on how to fit a kill switch.Thanks for any advice.

Hi,
If you get a Yamaha type kill switch it should have bullet type connectors on it. Under your tank you'll find only one bullet type connector socket. Stick one wire from your kill switch in that. The other kill switch wire should be taken to earth. Hope that helps.
If you've taken your lights off make sure the fan still works!

The CDI unit (black box) should have a thin yellow wire coming out of it. Connect this to one end of the kill switch and the other end of the switch to ground.

My raga has the lights already taken off, how can i tell if the fan is still wired correctly? i havent used it for more than a few minutes at a time ...yet... so fan maybe hasnt had a chance to come on yet???

Remove the connectors off the thermostat and join them together using a bit of wire or a paperclip. If the fan is wired properly it should come on as soon as you start the bike....simple!!

do yourself a favour and get the kawasaki kill switch as they are better sealed from water ingress, check out at bvm website.

Thanks for your guys help.The wiring diagram was exactly right and it went back together perfectly.My toy lives again.Now i have a pile of wiring looms and road legal gear sitting in a drawer.
