Bike Trials

Lochabers first bike trial will be held at the Aonach mor car park this Saturday the 15th october. All welcome, helmets compulsory. Run by Kevin Dignan and Graham Finnie, clerk of the course " the legendary D.P. Mcphie".

Check out the Scorpa trials bike, I quite like it, looks different. Not too keen on the wider frame though, something to just smash your knees in on more. Not too good feedback as you can see... Click-it-y Click

Anyone know where i can get hold of one cant spend too much money but i would like a decent one arnt bothered if it has hydrualics or not. Apart from ebay ( look there quite a lot for 20") Any of your m8s selling ?

Have any of you got any pics of you doing things on your bike like dropoffs, rocks and other stuff? I dont at the Mo but ill get some when my back sorts itself out and in the summer.....Plus im taking my bike to the Lakes should be fun:D

Hi everyone. I know this kind of topic sometimes p****s some people off, but I want to start riding bike trials as a bit of extra practice. I only have about 120 quid to spend so I am looking for a cheap 20 inch bike. I don't expect to get Hydraulic brakes but do not want HS11's, Good V'brakes would do me. I have had a go on my mates mission prodigy, and found it to be really good fun, but I am relatively new to bike trials, I was thinking about a mission, a megamo or an onza. What bike would you reccomend? Anyone you know in my area (N. Yorkshire) selling one cheap. I saw this one on e-bay, would it be a good beginners bike for a small 16 year old? I saw this bik…

Hi everyone, I live in North Yorkshire between york and Scarborough. A mate of mine has got a Mission trial bike, but are there any trials for him to ride round here? Do Scarborough DMC still do bike trials at Low North? Are they any good?

Bought a tatty Onza from ebay that needs new grips, anyone want to offer some advice?

I was just wondering if you ever had a stretch of riding nothing but biketrials for like 6 weeks or so then hopped on the moto, did you loose or gain moto techniques? I know this is a silly question but I'm in this bike trials fase and do not even look at my motocycle. I understand that bike trials is a great cross-training tool, especially for cardio, but does bike trials open your mind for more advance moto techniques? The down side of bike trials that I can see is I do not get the forearm and hand strengthening work out like I do on the moto! Seems like a little bit different muscle group. Lots of questions? sam

Evenin folks, Ok, I ride motocycle trials as you all know...and if you didnt, you know now. I want to start bike trials as a cross training and also because I want a new hobby, a new challenge. We live in Derbyshire, and the exact place where we live is GREAT for trials (street) and its just a shame to not ride it. Just walked in from riding with a Unicyclist, WOW! I just can not believe the stuff this kid can ride, like jumping from the center of a log pile out and over with a 4' drop. If you have not ridden with a uni rider you be amazed of the stuff they attempt and make! I just can not believe it. Well, now I'm headed out to dig a grave for my motorcycle, it's over! I've been riding this huge log pile for months, trying to get the final clean, then this youngster shows up and on the first try gets a clean. It changes a mans mind rapidly, my wife keeps telling me to take up gardening, maybe its time! sam I'am with chickens that lay green eggs!
