Recently got back into trials after a long break riding crossers I'm a confident rider like to tackle big hills and climbs but would like to get more technical riding .. Been practicing balance and quick braking a lot but struggling with my clutch control a bit either causing me to stall or not get clutch out enuff to get power down Have clutch set to work with 1 or 2 fingers with a standard lever but wondering what setup works best for you guys am I best to try short levers? Also read somewhere about taking a couple springs out clutch for lighter movement ? Does this work not sure id like to try without some good advice first? Thanks in advance

I've ended up with a tube in a tubeless x11 rear because the fitter couldn't get the bead on the rim without it, he doesn't know about the doughnut that I have learned since you need. The problem might be that there isn't a rim lock on the rear so is this going to work? I'm booked in for a trial tomorrow and don't want to miss it and can't really do anything about it before. Anybody got any experience with this?

The UK Daily Telegraph writes on 28 May 2014 on how children are now being denied scary moments on TV programmes though oddly he says not in films such as Disney's new 'Maleficient.' Tom Payne the writer goes on to say about the tele... "The world of Tom and Jerry seems remote; and how incredible it is that there was ever a programme called Junior Kickstart, in which small boys hurtled round muddy tracks on motorbikes, toppling over menacing obstacles for the amusement of other small boys." Very remote ha ha, though I like the toppling over bit.

G'day Dabbists, As some know I've been unable to ride too hard because of medical issues the last 2 months or so. Have a tentative approval from Doctor to ease back into some trials (and off-road on WR) but easy is the word until more assessment from cardiologist. I cant say how much I've missed my practice days at Gap Creek as did my wife. I offered to run up there with her bike only but she refused unless I could ride as well... for better for worse huh? We have been riding on the roadbikes but we missed sheer joy of the Aussie scub and creek bed on trials bike. We had a fantastic day last Sunday! Tested out the new trailer for the first time, 3 bikes aboard! Beaut…

does anyone know of areas where you can practice around bracknell/camberley/ maidenhead, went out this eve and parked van in slightly different access point to where i normally go and read signs and doesn't say no motorcycling but police turned up and said can't go in there so he looked at the sign and said that was covered under road traffic act1988, apparently they're havin a purge on it because SURPRISE SURPRISE MOTOR CROSSERS HAVE BEEN FLYING PAST WALKERS, not that i go any where near them

Bought a 290 sherco last month, all was well until today after id been on it for a couple of hours. I had been having problems for a few minutes selecting gears. Slowed down and pressed harder downwards on gearshift. Gearbox started to make loud grinding noise so i pushed the thing to van. The gear lever is floppy(loose).Like a plonker i started it a couple more times hoping it would disappear! Is this common fault, Is it gonna cost me a packet.??? Cheers all, rich.
