More specifically good balance. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2022/nov/02/can-you-stand-on-one-leg-for-10-seconds-why-balance-could-be-a-matter-of-life-and-death-and-how-to-improve-yours Shame the article did not highlight motorcycle trials as a superb way to maintain balance and something very very suitable for older people, ladies particularly.

Id just like to congratulate the members of the Barnsley club for the trials that they have put on this year.I have rode in four and found each to well organised with a nice variety of sections. The lads and lasses seem to really enjoy their sport . Just one thing that bothered me was at a grimethorpe trial I kept wondering if my car and trailer would still be where I had left it otherwise all the venues have been first class. looking forward to next years events at tarrrn club cheers Leggins

Possibly a strange request, but have any trials riders had laser eye surgery? I am feed up wearing spectacles and have been considering this option. If any riders have had this done I would appreciate any comments or problems that may come up through trial competitions. Andrew

My son has a Clipic 50 trials with what is thought to be a minori( this is probable spelt wrong)engine. I have changed the barrel for an 80cc barrel and piston and it has given it more power. I had trouble originally getting it out of 1st gear before but now 2nd is a usable gear but still very underpowered , im looking at upgrading the carb but not sure what to look for. Any help would be great thanks.

Had a great day up at Staveley ,west moorland trial . Whole family went and the weather , well any one who doesn't know what English bank holidays are like ,it usually pees down with rain , but great is a good word to describe it . On our way home , we were joining the A6 ( i hate motorway driving ) from the A591 out side of Kendal , going towards Milnthorpe . Went down the slip road to a roundabout come junction .Waiting to join the road , a young lad on a yam DT 125 goes past with 'L' plates on which drew my attention . We join 2 cars after . Follows the road comes off another slip to the roundabout and there's a que of traffic . Lad on DT is staying in the qu…

Hi trials central, I'm starting research to decide which bike to buy. I owned an 09 gas gas 280 eco but I sold it about six months ago. It was my first ever trials bike and I decided after riding it for a bit that I want something newer and maybe lighter. So I'm a novice, no hopping about on the back wheel anytime soon. Im wanting something smooth and easy to ride, and also something light weight as much as possible. I think I like the suspension to have a bit of snap to it.. At least more so than the gg. It seemed really dead and even after putting a new shock in I could never get it to feel snappy. I don't know, maybe that's not desirable , what do I know?! I'm thinki…

thanks for all the suggestions lads. Been surviving on tongue, cold shoulder and lettuce alone sandwiches all week SHE has just gone and ordered a chastity belt off the internet. Reckons she had to go for the one with the reinforced backend ? When it arrives she takes it into MY garage and uses My Jizer and MY power washer to remove the traffic film. Anyway she wore it last night and i Solvol'ed it while she was asleep. Bit of a bugger staying awake till she turned over. Anyhow it's know looking quite " trick " it.s all shiney and has purple anodized hinge covers. If i can get in in half i'll be able to make a couple of sump shields only trouble is because of h…

Hi Folks, Chasing some advice / knowledge about Gas Gas shocks fitting Sherco's. My son has been offered a second hand 5 way adjustable Reiger shock at a good price. But shock has come off a 2015 Gas Gas 300, does anybody know if it will fit a 2018 Sherco 300 Factory ?? I've been onto some Reiger websites but cant find any info. Thanks in advance, Gary
