Hello everyone, My name is Eddie and I just picked up my first trials bike. I live in Denver, Colorado. Have experience riding a KTM 300 on mountain and desert singletrack, but never ridden trials before. Excited to get started! If anyone wants to show a newbie the ropes or suggest places to ride, let me know!

Howdy everyone! I have been reading this forum for many many years. I am 60 years old and started riding motorcycles when I was five. I've owned just about everything you can think of. About 10 years ago my boys and I all had Gas Gas TXT 300s. At the time we lived in rural Kansas in the Kansas River Valley that had heavy woods and Rocky bluffs and lots of creeks etc. Those bikes were powerful and athletic, but I found them a bit too much at times. Fast forward to today, and I now live in Steamboat Springs Colorado with access to a lot of beautiful single track Mountain trails. I recently purchased a 1974 Yamaha TY250 which is much more my riding style at this point in my …

Just wanted to introduce myself. Looking at getting a trials bike. Probably too old, too fat (that could be a franchise film with 200 sequels I am sure) but need to get fit and wasn't allowed one when I was a kid (Junior Kickstart for those oldies out there, might remember). Got back on a bike a few years ago after a long time learning to walk again post accident. Thought, what the hell - do it before the joints completely give out. I remember a friend that did MX, and there was always the old fat bloke at the back that was 65 and they all respected him and gave him space as he was having his fun and riding his own race. That will be me, no doubt. Work wise, I work w…

Hi everyone. I'm totally new to trials, and to fourms! . I just bought a 2007 rev 250 4-stroke. All I could afford at the moment. I'm just wondering where would be the best place to source parts? I can't seem to find anything on line. Every search seems to throw up parts for the 2504t RR )which I assume is a beta enduro bike)? Or the 2stroke trials, but not the 4stroke. I want to service it and do fork seals and replace a few bits etc. Thanks in advance Noel.

Hello to all . I have currently just bought a new off road Chinese ( clone Honda 250 ) from a dealer on eBay . The bike needs to be registered it is insured on the vin no and is fully loaded with lights , speedo , horn etc . The dealer is reluctant to to give me nova reference so I can continue on to DVLA .I am in touch with HMRC but all seamed to haven’t stalled. The dealer is quoting it is for off-road use only , but surely import tax must have been paid and that’s all I need as proof. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

I just picked up my first Trials bike, a '23 Beta 250 Factory. I have been riding motorcycle for the past 50+ years with the last 15 years or so on Adventure bikes. I have a fair bit of off road riding, completing 7 Back Country Discovery Routes and the Trans America Trail coast to coast to coast this past summer. So far, having ridden the trials bike 3 times, about the only thing that seems to relate to riding trials is, "I can ride a motorcycle"! Early days yet, but pretty sure I'm going to enjoy this journey...😁

HI all This is my 1964 Tiger Cub TR20, which has been heavily modified (I was told by Comerfords) which I have owned since the mid 70's. It wasn't a runner when I bought it and since then various storage periods haven't been kind to it. I am now in a position to do it justice and a full restoration. I am going to need advice on electricals, but the oily bits I am comfortable with having worked on various marques over the years. I have the handlebars but they have been removed for transportand ease of storage. Wil certainly be seeking advive as time goes by. Thanks for looking
