Hello, just heard that I can get back an old Bultaco that I used to own 35 years ago! It's in a bit of a state and is in bits but I am very happy to see the old girl again, but I'm going to need some advice and so here I am. Live in Scotland in a rural quite place with lots of places to play. Will have loads of questions I'm sure.

Always wanted to ride trials, but never have. My hobby is old motorcycle restoration, typically British. Past years raced vintage MX on a 1967 Husqvarna 360, stopped in 2005. Now wanting to ride a 72 Sherpa T model 92. recently purchased a Sherpa Bultaco in progress, due finished by early 24. I am 76" tall at 175 lbs and I have my first helmet from 1969 (no foam/all failed). I am concerned about being too tall for this sport on a vintage Sherpa. Also concerned about going back to kick start.

Hello all from sunny Grimsby just getting myself back into trials and fancied something a bit older than the bikes i used to play on. Got myself an old 1956 Ariel NH 350 (well the main bits) to build up and ride. Though i had better say hello before picking brains etc.

Looking at this sub-forum I think Konrad might be single handedly reviving Trials Central 😆 I am new to moto trials but have been riding bike trials for much of my life. I currently ride a 2014 OSSA Factory R that I purchased from my dad and am in the process of fixing up. I actually found konrads website ossa-efi.com which lead me to this forum. I am excited to be here!

Hello; new member living in Ma. USA; 70 years old now and returning to riding; rode quite a bit of trials bikes in the 70s; including Bultaco, Ossa, Montesa, and 1976 Yamaha TY175; I’m restarting now on the same 1976 TY175; I think this will be the lightest and easiest handling for a guy my age; excited to start again and enjoy my ride of the old days! Thanks John

Now I’m looking for a Stroud petrol tank ( rocking horse s**t!!) my particular obsession is with the alleged Springer Stroud that was built and sent to Sweden in around 1953!!

Just thought I’d share this as it might help others just done oil & oil filter change on my 4RT & like others struggled to get one of the front bolts to line up on the skid plate when refitting it so I loosened the down tube bolts on the same side a little & also the long bolt that goes through the bottom see photos & it lined up so I just tightened them all a little at a time until all were secure hope this helps
