Hello all Just wanted to introduce myself to one and all. Currently in the process of getting my 1994 Yamaha TYZ 250, which I've owned for 20 years, up and running again. It's not seen seen much action apart form the occasional start up for over 10years. If I can just clean up the Dave Cooper rack and get a tow bar fitted it may just turn a wheel again! Hoping to gleen a bit of information from other users along the way if I can? Regards

Hi, I am a restorer in Wisconsin. I will be looking for parts for a 1975 Kawasaki KT250. NOS preffered. Right now I need left and right handlebar switches. A good set of pit free fork tubes would be appreciated. Would rather not need to rechrome and centerless grind if possible. Thank you for any help. Mark

Hi All Well as the title says I told my Grandson Stan who is 7 that he could have a trials bike to use at Llangollen practice area. So Sunday I kept my word and after failing to find a suitable petrol model bought a used 2011/2012 Oset 16.0 which I hope gets him in the swing and if so a petrol model will probably follow. Already had to put a potentiometer on it as that was already broken, Although it still seems very little refinement in the throttle response, maybe even bordering on excessively harsh. Hi All, recently bought from Spain a 213 Alpina. It is complete with toolbox, lights, etc... Good looking but needs attention. Exhaust was completely empty with metal bit moving inside, front tyre cracked, front spokes loose and seized, and speedo ring eaten up. I am in the process of fixing all that. Hi there, my name is Joachim, 52 Y and from Germany. Trials was a dream when I was a kid, now it is still a dream as I am a beginner in any way. Sometimes I just can't resist buying a bike, thinking it will run eventually. Newest one is a bultaco about 1970, first bike my age 😉 After spending some time on it I realise I am pretty clueless as there is not so much information easy to find as it is a Lobito 175 MK3 (think so!) Cleand the AMAL, polished some of the alloy, looks great, just like new, but no spark! Hi All, Complete novice just purchased 1979 UK supplied Cota 348.. engine runs but will only go in first gear. Does anyone know the wire gauge to rewind a stator on a GasGas TXT? I get that I can measure the existing one but I can't get the flywheel off without the tool which is on order. How many volts should I get from the stator? I am getting about 10 VAC which seems low. Thanks, Kevin

Hi, I Just bought a Beta Techno Dougie Lampkin replica. It was in terrible condition as the previous owner neglected the bike big time. I had to buy it, as what a waste of a bike. But to be honest, i think i paid a bit too much for the bike in the condition it was in (£600). On closer inspection nearly every bearing has gone on it and will all need replacing. I am on the lookout for a wokrshop manual. I have the owners manual but it doesn't really go into too much detail. I have started the restoration of the bike and i am finding it hard to source parts for it. I will try to upload some pics when i can.

Hi everyone, nice to meet you all. I have finally bitten the bullet after many years of daydreaming and purchased a good 1998 GasGas TX125 CONTACT from a friend. He stopped riding it beasuse of Parkinsons problems. These machines are totally different from the old twin shock TY174 and 250 I used to ride. Does anyone know what the best oil is for this engine? There`s so much conflicting advice floasting around and I can`t seem to find the right answer. My friend just used to get someone else to service it and has no clue what oil was used. Getting a model 199A ready for the season after taking a few years off from trials, so I plan to post some questions in the Bultaco section. This is my 3rd T, the first one I got in 1974 when I was a junior in high school, the second one I rode back around 2006-2008 or so. Most events are through the Mid Atlantic Trials group, that runs most events in PA with some in Ohio, WV, and Maryland.
