So I'm fortunate enough to live right near a legal public riding area, but it's mainly a trail system. There are some fun sections (oddly enough, the parking lot being one of them), but I'd love to find someone to hook up with in the MA/RI area that has some riding space. I'm on a relatively quiet 300 2t. Cheers, -Grant

I'm going to start riding some NETA events, and I'm supposed to run a number plate with name/class/line/etc. on it. My beta has a front light/plate space, but it's pretty small. Is there somewhere I can get something? I'm not sure where/how people typically construct their front plates (sorry, I've only ever had to deal with numbers for NETRA events before).

Hi folks, I recently got the trials bug, and I'm looking to get my first bike. I've come across a 2010 Sherco 250, asking $4000. Was looking for any input on the price and what I should be looking at specifically if I go to check this particular bike out. Thanks!

Hello fellow trial bike riders. In April is the possibly las annual Alley Sweep in PDX. Here is the link: http://www.motorcycledaily.com/2013/03/portland-alley-sweeper-urban-enduro/ I will wave the riders by our local alley, which I help maintain, and not ride this year. My TY250A is having its frame powder coated. Have fun.

With the loss of my favorite dealer (Commo) I'm finding it easier, and for the most part cheaper (if I buy enough stuff to cover shipping) to just order on-line from Europe. Anybody else finding this to be the case. I'm all for supporting the local dealer but find it hard to justify when all they do is make a phone call to the same distributer who drop ships it to me.

I am saddened to find that Royce Klein from Trials Incorporated has passed. He was always a true down home Grassroots rider who wanted nothing more than just to enjoy the sport. He would go out of his way to make sure the show would go on. From numerous TI events and the AMA Vintage days he was always a presense. Trials inc and the rest of the trials community will forever miss him. If it ran on fuel and was going to get him through the day he would ride it. If you needed a helping hand he was always there to help. Ride on sir and keep your feet on the pegs. --The USA trials community

The 2012 Ahrma Vintage Trials schedule is little more than an insult to the outgoing National Trials Coordinators, Ed and Evelyn Peacock who have worked tirelessly to promote high quality and enjoyable trials during their long stint in office. The article on my blog has created considerable interest in the possible "way ahead" and all comments are welcome from those with a Vintage Trials passion. Tony

The Rhode Island Trials club is working closely with the AMA and the FIM in an effort to secure a United States World Round in Exeter, Rhode Island in 2015. We have developed a good working relationship with the FIM over the years and have put on several World Rounds, the last being 14 years ago in 1999. We are really excited this year as we now have, for the first time, a US representative on the FIM CTR committee ---- Martin Belair, a long time friend of Rhode Island Trials Club. The FIM has had a recent change in the organization and the new leaders are being proactive to promote the sport of Trials. Some of their changes and rules have been controversial, but thei…
