I’m after a new helmet, but a lot seem to have a built-in / pull-down visor Are they worth having, Is anyone using one?

Would a "half" helmet be accepted at a trials competition. The kind that just cover the top of your head. I use one for practice and really like it. It is DOT approved. I'll be riding in the lowest skilled sportsman class.

I often buy spare parts for our bikes online, I would like to know where you get your supplies. I'm in Italy but I often buy in Spain where it seems convenient (if you're not in a hurry) For example I buy on t3moto or greenlandmx, i saw that there are some good prices on too trialworld. Can any of you recommend other sites in various parts of the world? if it were possible to make a nice list it would be useful for everyone, thanks in advance

Just wondering if anyone has found if a certain boot brand is shorter in height than others. I'm only small and don't want them up under my knee cap. Cheers Simsy

Gabriele Marcelli's crash in Toulouse looked horrendous (belly flop from 10-12 feet up onto concrete, if you didn't see it). It was a relief to see him joining the podium, even if he looked very tender and had a big dressing on his face. Is it time to consider helmets wit face protection in trials? I can't really see any downside.

Hey all, so I am about 250ish lbs with gear. Hoping this is the correct place to ask for correct gear. So I am wondering if I should upgrade my springs to something stiffer. I do trail ride on the trials, but its usually super rocky. I train in there so I can develop some balance and force myself to stand up. I have a feeling stiffer springs would be very beneficial for my weight, but asking for opinions? This is essentially what the terrain looks like. And if I should invest in Trials boots vs the MX boots I have now?

Hi all, not sure if this ok and correct. mum looking for a pair of used boots that anyone has or willing to sell for my don, adult size 11 hes never rode trials before and not fancied to pay over £200 for a new pair just in case he doesn’t get into it, I would if he was my size, but I’d have to stuff with a bag of coal to fit me. Anything at all for a starter, thanks for whoever reply’s.

Hello everyone, I am back into trials after many years riding only enduro. Now I want boots but don't know which brands are recommended. I am looking for save and high quality boots that are also available in big sizes. I am not so much concerned about the price as I value my feet quite high.

I've just got some Gaerne balance natural oiled boots and some duckswax to treat them with. But how often do you need to apply the wax? After every ride? And do they need treating from new?

I'm in North America, so our trials selection to go try stuff on is pretty limited. The shops online seem to only list boys/men or unisex. Any lady trials riders out there have suggestions for well fitted ladies trials gear? Brands/models etc? Thanks!

Found these online for a good price, so treated myself to them to go with my new helmet. I have three other pairs of Sidi boots, love the quality and build of them all.

So you might have seen my intro and hello post re my new Montesa 4RT. Well I couldn’t buy a new bike and not have a helmet helmet to match, so I invested in this new Airoh TRR S model. It’s a fabulous helmet, can’t believe how light it is, spec says 850 grams, but it feels a lot lighter in use.

Hi guy's I don't post in this section very often , But I just took shipment of my xmas present to self ... I got myself 2 risk raciing's EZ3 jugs with hose bender nozzles & floor mount boots . I've got no interest in the Co. in anyway shape or form , (same folks market the Lock&load), But these folks are making some cool stuff . Can't wait to use the jugs and mount them to my dedicated bike trailer .... Riskracing.com good stuff . Glenn
