S3 Head
hi i have posted a question on the sherco specific forum about issues with sealing the s3 head i have, i am also posting here as im not sure if someone may have had the same issues on a different bike. issue being water is getting into the barrel after running for a few seconds it also does this with the old head but this was tried with the old o-rings (so not really relevant i dont think) it was bought new and the barrel has been re-lined by langcourts so im pretty sure everything is flat. is it a common issue with these heads that the o-rings seem to small for the recess and also how do the head bolts seal as water seems to get passed them. thanks

Leaking Head
hi can anybobdy help. i am having trouble getting the head to seal on my sherco 250 2006 i have had the barrel religned etc and and have come to putting it back together and water keeps getting into the barrel each time i run it for around 30 seconds. i have 2 new o-rngs inner and outer and the small ones for the screws so i imagine no sealer is required i am fitting an s3 head i dont know if it makes any difference but it also leaks with the old head aswell. also the supplier of the head wasnt sure if the s3 head needed the samll o-rings can anyone clear this up. thanks

Front Fork Help
I would agree with the above most likely a cut to the seal on fitment i have done a few motorcross forks and find a bag from a loaf of bread put over the forks first gets it safely past any marks caused by the yokes etc . it could also be caused by the seal not being seated square when pushed in. I wouldnt expect it to be the seal, but some cheap seals arent worth the money either.

Time To Change ?
ok sounds like a change could be a good idea. it may sound silly but but i prefer the look of the sherco's and i want to be happy with what i buy, i dont dislike the beta but will a sherco or gas gas be as good for improving on. as i say i know looks arent everything and at the end of the day i want to improve my riding.

Time To Change ?
Hi im new to the forum and quite new to trials aswell i have been riding about 18 months, i currently have a gas gas tx320 which i have been getting on relativley well with but now have it in my mind that i want a newer bike ( a 250/290 aronud 2006 ) to help my learning. the question is, is it worth the money or is the difference in weight, power etc going to go unnoticed by someone with little experience. thanks tim

Hi Newbie From Kent
hi everyone as the title says im new to the forum and looking for advise and a bit of knowledge. i have been doing a bit of riding locally just in and out of bomb-holes and over small fallen trees, and have decided i want to do more. i currently have a gas gas tx320 of unknown age but would like something a bit newer and lighter. this is where the advise comes in what sort of bike is best for a learner trials rider. for example make, age, engine size etc my history of riding is, very little trials, abit of enduro/ motocross and i have had a road liscence for 5 years. i am 25 and around 10.5 stone if this helps. any info would be great and also any info on clubs or events around the south east kent area. thanks tim
