I clean my carb and airbox after every outing. And as I said above, I have checked the carb and there is no blockage there. I will checked the throttle slide later on. I don't think I asked any stupid questions, I havn't been in the sport very long so I am still learning. The only to to learn is to ask these questions....

Any time I open my throttle fully it stays wide open. It wont go back to its starting position by itself? I have checked the throttle cable and its grand, no problems. I also checked the carb for any blockages which may be causing this but its perfect? Any one had this problem? Bike is a 2003 Sherco 125.

Well I've decided not to go with Sidi as they are too expensive with shipping and exchange rates etc. But tommorow I am going to pick up a pair of Gaerne Balance Oiled. Its going to be so good to finally get out of my big clunky motocross boots! Cheers for the replies about the Sidi's though guys.

This has been happening with my Sherco for awhile now. I just put a thin layer of silicone around the area where the air is leaking. Does the job 9 times out of 10.

Hi guys, Been a follower of the site for sometime now, decided I might aswell hop on the band wagon. I got into trials about a year back bought myself a 2003 125 Sherco never looked back. I dont know if theres any other Irish riders here....... ha!
