December 13, 201015 yr Hello all, I have this regular dream of taking a month of work, loading up the trials bike in the back of a van and then setting of to sunny spain to ride nothing but my bike for a month. Has anyone done anything along these lines and care to share any advice or tips of places to accomadate this sort of thing and contacts of clubs etc, I have in my head places like oximoto, area's around valencia barcelona and anything in between. I would also like to take in a few places on the way down from Scotland through england to dover so anything on the way down would also be cool, Obviously the restrictions are we do a weekend sport, so Im looking for places that would be accessible all week!!! And most importantly I would be on a tight budget so would look to do everything on the cheap, maybe thats just because im aberdonian!! Anyway that is the dream any comments would be appreciated,

December 13, 201015 yr I understood, from articles on here a while back, that Spain had undergone a complete changearound and that it was now illegal to ride a bike more than a very short distance from a public highway. Can anyone confirm that?

Can anyone confirm that? Yes,that is the case about the limiting of the Spanish 'rite to roam' laws but I'm sorry I can't find any articles on line to back that up.
December 15, 201015 yr I think the Isle of Man maybe a better playground and cheaper option as i have been on two occasions and Greg lived there some years back and it seemed pro bikes. It even had sign posts up directing off road routes.
