Thanks for the advice, The stage i am at now is i have managed to free the Pistons but they are all marked from where I had the grips on them so I want to change them, so I have pumped them out so both faces of the piston are touching each other So how do I go about taking them out do I change one at a time and bleed the brakes after each piston or with them both pushed out if I was to split the caliper will they just pull out?

So i have took the caliper off undone the 2 bolts but can i hell as get the two pistons things out off the calliper dose anyone have any ideas? Cheers

I have google searched for diagrams and been on YouTube for videos on how to strip the brake down and can't find anything

My rear break was binding on the disk after fitting new pads so i decided to take a look at it, i took off the wheel and took the pads out and presses the brake peddle only one piston moved so after spraying them with WD40 and pressing the brake peddle 100 time to work the wd40 in the one piston had moved right out so i push the piston back in with a bit of force now i am stuck when i press the brake now nothing happens with either piston so i have no rear brakes will the brake need bleeding now or will i have to take the calliper apart? it would be helpful if anyone could give me any diagrams or links on taking it apart if this is the case

Hi, the weekend was my first trip out on my GasGas 300cc, i loved it but the bike didn't want to start so i got home and thought lets change the spark plug as i had a spare plug, here is the question i screwed the new pug in till it got tight is the correct thing to do or do i have to get a gap??? if i need to set a gap how do i do that? i am new to this so any help will great

i am going to do my 1st oil change on my new 2012 gas gas 300 how much oil am i meant to put in? 400ml? or just take it to the top of the sight glass? cheers

Hi, i have just purchased the untouchable 19mm chain to lock my 2012 gas gas, but it will only fit through the wheels not the frame so i am just after some advice how you lock your bikes up and what chain devices you use please

Yes the carb is clean i have cleaned it and yes i tick's over fine and when i was giving it a good rev i seemed fine except it was like puffs of white smoke

i got my gas gas 125 2005 out and started it up (hasnt been used in ages) after putting it back together givving it a bit of a service it seem's to run really smokey could this be to do with the oil mix or maybe the old fuel i used? the mix i use is super unleaded with 70:1 also round the exhaust pipe seems to be thick oil any ideas???

i use 70:1 98 ron fuel, i might try another inline fuel filter.

I cleaned my bike fitted the carb all is well, the only thing is that it runs a bit smokey popping "pop" "pop" "pop" it use to run like this before i cleaned the carb is this normal or am i putting to much oil in with the petrol? it always seems smokey even when it has warmed up. just like to say thanks to everyone for the help

How often are you ment to clean the carb? and is that rigth that the two pipes either side of the carb is are breathers? My thinking was to take the carb off and give the bike a good clean i should have really done it the other way round i know from now on.

What's the best way to lock your bike up? i use a chain but there isn't much room to put a chain through the frame so i have been locking the back wheel up has anybody a better ways to lock your pride and joy up? also has anyone had a close call where there locking system has paid off and not been able to get around.

This is my carb i thought i would have a bash at cleaning myself can someone tell me what to do? I cant see any jets? How often do u need to clean inside the carb? is there 2 breather pipes coming off either side of the carb?

Thanks for the advice both bikes need a good clean and a service is there any website's that show u how to clean the carb or do a full service? as i dont have a clue all i have done is a oil gearbox change.
