The coating on the front fork legs of my 04' 2.9 is peeling . I was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem and painted them ? Any pics would be great . Thanks,

Is there any aftermarket fork and dust seals that will work on my 04' 2.9 ? I have some seals for other bikes on the wall and would like to use them if they would work . Has anyone done any research on what ones will work ? Thanks, Raz

What alot of people do not realize is that WD-40 is more of a solvent than it is a lubricant . I would honestly use anything over WD-40 . Just my .02, Raz BTW: I use Maxima Chain Wax or Amsoil MP HD

I am getting one that has only been used a couple of times , I can pick between a large and XL . They are not the carbon fiber ones .

Does the airbox come apart or do you just have to look down inside after you remove the shark fin ?

I just bought a 04' 2.9 and I am going though everything to get familiar with it . I took off the gas tank and fender assy . I checked the antifreeze and it is ok . I then took out the airfilter that looks like a curved wedge . The air filter didn't have any oil on it , shouldn't you run airfilter oil on it ? Is this the only filter or is this some type of pre filter ? Thanks, Raz

I just got a 04' 2.9 and the front forks look like grey paint is peeling from the lowers . Were these painted from the factory or is it some kind of anodizing ? How do I clean these up and make them look better cosmetically ? Thanks, Raz

Just introducing myself , I am from the southern DFW area and had a vintage trials ( 1977 Bultaco Sherpa T 350 ) that I just sold . I am looking at a 04 Sherco 2.9 on Wednesday and want to get back into trials . I haven't seriously ridden for about 15 years . I would like to find some people in the area to ride with . Thanks, Raz
