  1. Go up the Laxey mines quite often, what an awesome place to ride! Thanks for the useful information. Alex.
  2. I only aimed this at Dougie competing in world trials rounds, not enduro. I think it is way over the top saying that this a "rude and immature topic"...if you don't like what has been said, then don't comment...simple. Sorry if I have upset any of you. Thanks Alex
  3. Know any good places to practice? Alex.
  4. What do you think...is Dougie past it now?
  5. Personally, I would start off on a Beta 200/250. The Beta is such a lovely bike and would be great for someone that is just starting off. However, like Telecat said...all bike's have the good points and bad points.
  6. I've always preferred the Beta...found that the 4RT was a bit on the technical side for me and would have been better off for a more experienced rider. Personally, I would stick with the Beta...great bike
  7. I don't know if any of you have ever been to the Isle Of Man, but it's a beautiful place. I am currently on the Island visiting family, and managed to get up a 3 mile old mine track which took up to a rock quarry with some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever saw! The Island really is fantastic, with trials riding being a big hit over there...people doesn't really seem to care where you ride; as long as you are not abusing the land! Go home Sunday, and will truly miss it Is anyone doing the Manx 2 day this year?
  8. Many thanks to all for your great help
  9. Would have gone for that one if it wasn't sold Such a good price ! Thanks for letting me know about trialsuk
  10. BVM hasn't had any in since October , I would travel further a field as long as it was the right bike at the right price
  11. I have found it very hard to find a 2010 Gas Gas 125cc for sale. Do any of you know where the best place to look is, or know any for sale? Thanks.
  12. Fair enough...how much brand new?
  13. Thanks for some great advice, much appreciated
  14. NO WAY for the Ossa!
  15. Many people have said avoid Gas Gas because of the poor build quality, what did you think the build quality was like on the Gasser? Thanks for the great advice.
  16. I would maybe suggest a 200 Beta would be good, lovely to ride with just the right amount of power needed to get you up most things.
  17. Hi all, Just looking for a bit of advie really Currently got a 2008 Beta Rev-3 125 and considering getting a 2010/maybe 2011 Gas Gas 125, are they any good? Cheers.
