  1. Have a look on EDMCC they have the directions on there, quite easy to find. When I rode there in August its down a fairly long track. Ive only got a zafira and it would struggle to get back up if its wet
  2. Well i had the clutch cover off today and found that clutch was rubbing the casing. Checked all the plates were located properly in the basket and pulled the lever in to check operation and all was ok. Put the casing back on and started her up only to find it rubbing again...not happy
  3. Ive just replaced the clutch plates on my 315r with the Apico friction and dimpled metals, replaced the oil with PJ1 ultra light. The bike now has a clutch and goes into neutral easily. I have notived that it is a lot louder than the old clutch and when you pull the clutch lever in the clutch sounds as though its rubbing against the clutch casing, let go of the clutch lever again and no noise. I put my hand on the casing and pulled the lever in and im sure I could feel it working/ rubbing. I nipped the springs up OK so Im wondering if the new clutch is slightly thicker than the old one? Any thoughts
  4. BVM say the following: Apico Clutch Steel Plates Montesa 315/4RT Apico These aftermarket plates actually offer better performance, they are covered in tiny dimples that allow more oil to get between the place. This gives the clutch a much more progressive less switch like action
  5. Hello first post so be gentle with me. I have a 2002 315r ,looking in the manual for the carb settings I see that there are 2 listed. 1) Needle 3 notches from top, 110 main jet and air/mixture screw 1 turn out 2) Needle 3 notches from top, 108 main jet and air/mixture screw 3-4 turns out I have the 110 main, but most of the posts Ive read say set the screw at 3-4 turns out, mine was set at 1 3/4 turns out- when I put it to 3 out the bike smokes for England. Ive now set it to 1 turn out. Anyone know what the correct setting is? Thanks in advance
