Hi , these engines need to be ran on a rich idle setting . Ive now set my needle on bottom clip postion (needle raised fully) . Mixture screw is about 3 turns from fully closed as its a fuel screw not air screw . Best way to set is start about 2 turns out and then turn out 1/4 turn at a time if idle rises turn idle scew to lower tickover keep doing this until no change in idle speed . Good Luck Rob

Hi all , Which way do the mesh oil filters fit in the 4t engines . I have the manual but it doesnt show or state whether the small or large hole should be facing in or out . Ive spoken to beta uk and they arent too sure . Thanks Rob

Hi guys, just changed oil on my rev 4t, cant remember if oil should dissappear from sight glass when running . Is there anyway to check that oil is being pumped around any advice would be much appreciated . Thanks Rob

Hi guys , think i may have head gasket gone , any tips on replacing would be very much appreciated. I do have a download of the workshop manual which is quite good as a start . It mentions about a tdc locking bolt but im not sure exactly where it is !.Do i need to remove water pump shaft or can i leave it in place and just drop chain off camshaft sprocket . Thanks Rob

JUST TAKEN THE TWO INTERNAL OIL FILTERS OUT TO CLEAN ON AN 08 250 REV4T , CANT REMEMBER WHICH WAY ROUND THEY FIT INTO ENGINE AS ONE END HAS A BIGGER HOLE THAN THE OTHER . WOULD APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE ,THANKS ROB

Hi guys , just picked up an 08 rev4 can anyone tell me why this pipe may have been blocked off and where is it supposed to be attached to. Is it a mod that is done to the bike as it seems to run ok. Thanks Rob

HI GUYS , IM ABOUT TO REFIL MY 2010 GASGAS MARZOCCHI FORKS , ROUGHLY HOW MUCH OIL DO THEY TAKE TO ACHEIVE THE 160MM AIR GAP . IVE PUT 80MM OF OIL IN THE BOTTOM OF THE CARTRIDGE BUT I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT HOW MUCH EXTRA GOES IN AS WHEN I STRIPPED THEM I ONLY HAD ABOUT 100MM DRAIN OUT OF EACH LEG , WHICH DOESNT SEEM ENOUGH !
