  1. What is that!!! I love it!!
  2. Yeah I know guys do it because I just bought a 09 raga and the previous owner installed it and loved it
  3. Or they make a tubeless system for all wheels. It's called tubliss. http://tubliss.com/
  4. Remove all Advertisements Anyone here did it? On their website it seems they have a trials division. A few of us are going 2013 and I'm getting all the ducks in a row. Just wondering if the trials guys get to run with the big bikes? By watching the vids it would appear that the trials would be the way to go. But guys like Geoff arron all rock big bikes .
  5. It says to drill the rivets out. Which leads my to believe its only the shell. Just the tube part. Like you are going to repack it. Give them a call. They might have the whole assembly laying around. Or try trials UK. Or lewisport on my side of the pond.
  6. I just saw that the carbon is only the cover. What happened to yours?? Can't be repaired
  7. http://www.trialendurodirect.com/products/2_8/JT7_Carbon_Silencer_115.html 114.07
  8. Correct my if I'm wrong but trialsendurodirect has the jt7 carbon one for a few hundred
  9. Yes thanks for that gonna put one in my yard!! My yard isn't big enough to ride in so it's something I can practice at home. GREAT TIP!!
  10. If your talking about the gear that sits on the kickstarter shaft then yes. I just replaced mine and the old one had both ends machined off. The new one was only machined off on the forward side, or the side that makes contact with the idler gear first.
  11. so i have been watching several videos. i think i have the concept down, can it be used for almost any situation? say a big log for example. then it would look like a bunny hop from a standstill. i got it.... like a frog jumping!! thats it. am i making sense? Also what gear should be used?
  12. What are the specs on the motor? I'm gonna get one before mine goes bad. Also has anyone looked at replacing the entire unit with a SPAL fan? They are waterproof and come oem on most motorcycles

What are the dimensions? I found some I think they are correct. Shank is 8mm and head is 20mm. I'm not at home so I can't measure the hole in the fender.

Funny I just found this thread. I just got mine and it has a metal screw in the middle and HAD the plastic pins on the sides. I list those in a matter if minutes. Lol I'm using tiny zipties on the sides. They snap really easily. Should I replace the metal screw too with a plastic screw? Where can I get the plastic screws?
  17. Thanks I appreciate it.
  18. I have never had a bike with a chain tensioner do just want to make sure I have the chain adjusted properly. So how do you do it? I'm gonna put a new chain on it so the procedure from start to finish would be great
  19. I stand corrected. Bigfoot is correct. I did some reading and that is how you calculate it.
  20. No problem that's going off memory. I'm new to trials but not bikes that for sure. I have always added teeth to the rear because the angle if the chain might chew up chain sliders if you go too low in the front. Follow?? Just my opinion
  21. Dropping one tooth in the front is about equal to goIng up 2.5 in the rear.
  22. Got it!! Checked the fuel screw. It was only one turn out. I was reading somewhere on here that said it should be 3-4.5 out. I ended up at 3.25 out. Like a kitten baby!! One kick wonder now. As it should be. I have always started my bikes at TDC. I was getting p****d there for a while. That should make it that much more fun.
  23. Well I just bought my first trials bike. An 08 txt 300 pro. What a bike! I have a few questions 1) this thing starts when it feels like it. Choke on, off, throttle, no throttle. Doesn't seem to have a pattern. Except when really hot. Then usually it will fire up on the first kick. But if it sits even for a few minutes it will be a pain. I'm gonna take a look at the jetting today, but don't know if it's too lean or rich. I suppose I could mess with the fuel screw to give me an idea. 2) can I use dot 5 in the clutch master? 3) bars and risers... I'm short and riding it feels like I have alot of pressure on the bars. I need to raise them about 1 inch. I bought it with s3 bars and the s3 adjustable clamps. What are my options here? Riding kinda hunched over. 3) fuel... Is 92 ok? I'm not hearing pinging, but font really want to either. 4) more of a technique question but how do you jump up onto something? It appears that you bounce and clutch it at the same time. I can't seem to find any videos to watch in slow motion. 5) where can I get that trick looking headlight? Mine came with one but an ugly one. I need to put the lights on it for the night missions. The previous owner cut the tail light wires right at the light. So if anyone has a headlight and tail light they aren't using I would be more than happy to take it off their hands for some beer money. Thanks everyone and I'm excited to be in the trials game. Aloha from Hawaii!!
