Hi all, can someone tell me what the best settings would be for the adjusters on the top of my front forks. I have a gas gas 250 txt 1999 and i have a red screw and a black screw with + and - on the top. They are both fully wound in at the moment and i`m not sure if thats right? Cheers Andy

Ahh yes I know puckeridge I'm only down the road in Hoddesdon. I've joined the Hemel Hempstead club and I'm soon going to join to ride over poles wood which is near Onger/Brentwood only 30 mins from me. I only started mid part of last year so still Loads to learn. Andy

Hi all, is it a good idea to use a inline fuel filter on the fuel line or do they give problems with the flow rate. Is there any mesh filters in the tank tap or carb? Cheers Andy

Hi all, ive got a new lower spherical shock bearing to fit on my gas gas txt 1999, now do i need to put any grease or oil on it before i refit it on to the bike or will this atract dust and dirt. Also is it a good idea to take the lower links apart and grease or oil them while ive got the bike apart, what type of grease would be good for the rear linkage. Many thanks Cheers Andy

Hi all, ive got a gas gas txt contact 1999 and just started trials as a beginner. Are the older bikes that much heavier than say a 2005 year bike, the new bikes seem very slim, can they make much difference when you want to hop the front or rear. when you see the pros ride they make the bike look very light, would a pro be able to make an older heavier bike move like a new bike? Hi all, i have a txt 280 2001 and i`m not sure if the rear shock is the wright way up. The big c spanner adjusters are up the top under the seat is this correct? Cheers Andy

Hi all, whats the best gear oil to use in my 280 edition 2003 not pro. some say light gear oil and some say dexron atf, what should i use? also ive changed a pipe on the rad and need to refill with new coolant how much coolant do i put in and do i have to bleed to stop air locks. Any idea whats the best coolant? Many thanks Andy
