yeh i do ride a little trials on my jump bike but thats it, never ridden a moto trials bike before, i spose its just going to be something i neeed to work on. shame the weathers soo rubbish today otherwise id be out now

cheers for the comments everyone. thought i was pretty crap to be honest but judging by everyones comments im not as bad as i thought. planning on do a few practice trials with a local guy and then see how they go then poss try and enter local trials. one thing i cant work out is how the hell do you fling the rear end round when standing still? i can do 180 endo's on my jump bike piece of cake, but if i try to do it the same on the trials bike i either dont move or i move an inch and then foot down grr. planning on doing a few videos of my progression soo ill try to keep this thread updated

iv had a look at these, very tempted but would like to no others opinions on them, comfort?sizing?durability?

well iv phoned the dealer up i got the bike from and hes said if its causing me major problems then i can get it looked at but according to him the 2002 txt's have this problem, however if its not causing me any problems then no need to worry, i can get N if i roll soo i think il just put up with it, less chance of hitting neutral i spose

yeh i tried using my hand but just doesnt want to go. im not worried to much as its better because there less chance of hitting neutral, just didnt no if this was ment to be like it or something i should worry about, it cant damage my gearbox can it? just seems wierd how when engines off it slips in a dream but not when engine running and stationary

i dont think the clutch is dragging at all and iv seen the vids on youtube from the gasgas guy pretty handy, my lever touches the bar and when clutch is pulled in and gear selected the bike stands still like it should. doesnt matter what i do i cant get neutral at all when standing still with engine on, engine off or rolling get neutral fine. is it worth me getting it looked at or just put up with it?

Right i dont no if this is ment to be like this but my 2002 gaser txt280 will not go into neutral with engine running and espically after i have been in gear and want to stop and go to neutral, once engine is off goes in piece of cake, and also i can get neutral whilst rolling.. is this a trials bike thing to reduce the risk of hitting neutral?or does it need looking at?the bikes got 3months warrenty on it so if its not ment to happen the bike will go back. cheers

as some of you no iv have just got into trials, now iv got the trousers,helmet(mx one for the time being)gloves and waterproofs, how ever i havnt got any boots used to ride my pit bike in wellies. looking for some proper boots now. question is are there any differences between trials boots and mx boots? and also what can u lot recommend dont want to spend mega

right iv had my bike 2days and im just trying to get my head around various things,main problem i have at the moment is, how do i stiffen up my forks?? theres two nobs on the top of my forks black on left red on right, what does what?and is there any specific way to set my forks to my weight?? its a 2002 gas gas txt 280..thanks

well it didnt take much to make me want this bike, got it from RCM trialsport in redruth today, looked at it and rode it yesterday, picked it up this afternoon and im in love haha its a 2002 gas gas txt 280 lovely bike, nice amount of power. just waiting for a day off work now to go ride in the woods:D see what u think
