Hi , if your talking about the later Gasgas with snail cams on the inside of the swinging arm I'm pretty sure the chain side had the tab facing outwards and the other side tab faces inwards .

I'd say problem when cold it's like the first pull of the lever isn't doing much and the second is . What happens if you work the lever half a dozen times before you start the bike then start it and try and get it in gear .

Sounds like you have air in the system,might be worth replacing the seals in the slave cylinder inside the clutch casing and bleed it again using the right mineral oil.

Hi not a Gasgas but I had a problem with an old ossa mar stalled when you braked hard or bounced the front end down , took me a while to suss it but was the filter in the tank blocked cleaned it and was fine after that .
