Hi Luke7129 standard 301 Fantic Carb settings are : Dellorto PHBH 26 BS Main Jet 102 Pilot Jet 45 Needle X5 2nd notch Slide 45 Air Screw 1 Turn out, dont forget, with Air screw its out to weaken mixture, in to richen, also standard plug is NGK B8ES, or Champion N3, hope this helps.

Hi Pete, my advice would be : 10T front sprocket, slow action throttle (Black Tube), Flywheel weight, definitely re pack tail pipe, middle box packing would make a difference, but is quite difficult to do, Carb settings which I find best assuming you have the std Dellorto Carb fitted are Main Jet 118, Pilot Jet 33,Slide 50,Needle D33, on 3rd notch from top, also mixture screw approx. 3 full turns out, also bear in mind that as its a mixture screw as apposed to an air screw, its out to richen , and in to weaken, any more advice you need just ask, will be happy to help.

Hi Tug, from memory, the best settings for that bike assuming its got the standard Dellorto carb fitted are : Main Jet 118 Pilot Jet 33 Slide 50 Needle D33 Needle Clip position 2nd from bottom Mixture screw approx 3 turns out also remember on this carb that as its got a mixture screw and not an air screw , its out to richen and in to weaken, will confirm these settings when I next go to my garage, anymore help needed, ask away.

Hello Bondy, on the Mikuni bear in mind that with an air screw you turn it out to weaken and in to richen ,as with a mixture screw found on most dellorto carbs its the opposite out to richen and in to weaken,try approx 1.5 turns out as a base setting.

Hello , the float height should be between 23.5mm and 24.5mm, that is measured from carb body to end of float ,when the carb is laying on a flat surface so that the air box side of the carb is at the bottom, info sourced from official Dellorto manual, hope this helps.
