  1. Im back in here... Got motivated watching some videos, almost to start riding the bike again.... Then something remind me i have nowhere to ride, nowone to ride with and i i break something noway to fix the bike.... Its been like 6 months or something trying to sell the bike, with no luck.... No trials scene over here!!!
  2. Today a guy from Neuquen (Thats Patagonia) called me... To hire a stuntshow, i told him I got rid of the BMW, ATV and VAN... And that i was trying to ride some trials, he insisted he wanted me to be there so Ill have a little fun and get some cash out of my trials bike.... Im also taking the EVO, to fool around, im far from the level id like to be to showoff.. The event is organized by the evangelic church, its huge!! They calle it Urban Extreme Party theres music bands, extreme sports, and lots of nice people from alla over the country and some foreign guests... Hope to get some stunts dialed when it comes... Its on november 23!!! Im asking, anyone is rocking a handbrake on their trials motorcycle? Would be nice to have it for some stuntriding off the pegs
  3. First double blips and slowing down what looks like a splat. As the title said. Feeling a bit mor comfy on the bike... I look at myself and notice how i can improve... But really appreciate your advice... Hows that move in which i hop up the ledge called? splat? and what if i touch the ledge with my front wheel a bit to aid going up?
  4. Im also around that weight Mok... im gonna clone the setup and give it a try...
  5. Now that i see your riding Mok...i think my EVO is defective :D the EASY BUTTON you have pressed before the photos is missing in mine!!!
  6. Its BIONIC B5r-7 1090 wheelbase, +70bb, 380mm chainstays and 71 degree head angle... tips the scale al 1508 grams. Thanks Mok!!! You gotta own one of this babies... Lots of fun and teches how to handle a motorcycle too!!! Its a Monty WBC limited edition... With a weird but magic geometry (10 degrees up, no backsweep) Looks nice and would be a pitty to paint over it... Ill maybe swap it for carbon bars, if id get one with the same geo... BTW... Ive been riding the bike for 5th time today... I felt it really more flickable with less PSI, according to my gauge that might not be dead-accurate im at 7 and 5 (front and rear) Grabbed my camera and shoot a couple stuff... I tried doubleblips for the first time, i got them almost dialed!!! Its all about hitting very low with the front wheel i guess and the bike pops up like magically... I managed to stall over the log a couple times i think its all about practice... Also tried slowing down my splatters (i dont know if thats a splatter or something called different... couldnt get my hands in any training videos yet ) I just preload, twist throttle, dump cluth as i decompress and try to keep it controlled either aplying throttle or stepping on the rear brake... PS: Ill get some friends to help me and ill try to steal that log tomorrow :D I got a new truck thats the perfect obstacle robbery machine and the EVO fits nice and snug with truckbed door closed. F100 Duty. (3.9 liter Cummins 2580kgs @153kph )
  7. Could not ride today, and tomorrow i have to make some business.... So i stayed till 3AM painting my bike to match the EVO Hope you like it!!! I suck at riding but i got skills making things look sharp
  8. Ive been busy... Hope i can ride a bit before the weekend... Wanna try that low pressure setup and ive been maturing some knowledge inside my head I really want to get confident and learn to play with the bike...
  9. Dropped the pressure to 7 and 5....(front and rear) I was rocking like 15 front and rear jajajajaja... Now the bike balances itself!!! Its like cheating!!!
  10. Mr. Finn may be reading this... Hes my favourite rider by far, his vids are pure motivation. (mainly those of shows from the past) been there, done that and people having a good time watching your riding is a unique sensation.
  11. 6lts of fuel consumed. (4 times on it)... I thought it was going to be more automatic, i cant imagine how to hop on the rear and i cant ride a controlled wheele and i dont even fit on the bike if i seat to wheelie it) :S
  12. 6th place is not bad at all Mok! Glad to hear your making good use of that 13 EVO....
  13. Ill go riding again today... Im having trouble flicking the bike... Im asking... how much PSI front and rear are you guys using??? and how yot set your suspension?
  14. Skate helmet is light, and i already have it!!! Next gear improvement will be a pair of proper boots... Riding with skate shoes is not a good idea if i get better at doing this stuff...
  15. Good to hear your coming back Mok! And glad im not the only one to just slam first gear and make **** happen About my progression, ive been really lame handling the bike .like not feeling her... but today i was "ON" and some stuff came up automatically... Im getting confident with the sport of motorcycle trials on a real trials bike... Hope to get better and keep having fun... http://youtu.be/20bZtHFLq08
  16. Hi guys, ive been really lame the past 3 times on the bike... but today i was "ON" and some stuff came up automatically... Im getting confident with the sport of motorcycle trials on a real trials bike... Hope to get better and keep having fun... http://youtu.be/20bZtHFLq08
  17. Thats correct nut again, spring tension is not linear un its full compression range....
  18. Good and bad news.... Good news is im slowly building the training spot.... I think its a bit tough for my unexisting skills... Fun to play on it with the bicycle thou.... And.... the first accident on the EVO.... Stupid stuff... Started the bike, let it to warm up while i put on my gloves and helmet... Jumped on the bike clutched in and put first gear.... Clutch was sticked so the bike made a small "jump" forward.... hitted my truckbed door which was open like 20cms in front of it... Cracked fender .... A Closer look.... Im fixing it with some Cianoacrylate and a melted mesh on the underside (post pics of it so you guys can do it - hope you never need to...) Im getting confident on the bike, im getting used to hop my wheels... Its a lot different than in the pushbike... more exagerated moevents needed... Ill post a vid as soon as i can, i look sloppy, unsafe and lame 4 sure
  19. Mr. Neutron, thanks for your time and advice... I think im in the same place that you were when you started...(=r...am I trying to blame setup for beign so lame :D )
  20. I rode the bike today... without touching the levers.... stock levers but propperly adjfirsusdted... I think ill leave them stock, ill get used to it in a few more rides.... The bike was having fue llevel problems, but now that i fixed it.... Its delicious, firstly i didnt like the bike at all (evo300 2013) it was my first experience with a trials motorcycle ever.... I now assumed its gonna be tough to get good at this
  21. ABOUT THE BIKE: Gave it less level, Problem solved, it runs almost vertical now.... BUT I want to leave something clear. about "Bending the tang" and how it affects the force in which the needle is pressed against the seat.... (Even when 0007 clearly affirmed it NEVER would ) Here we go... LEVERAGE, WILL NEVER CHANGE...If we reffer to the leverage itself as an isolated mechanism, asuming were talking about a second class lever, where the FULCRUM is the float axle, The LOAD is the needle pushing against the seat and the EFFORT is the floating hability of the float, that in fact... FLOATS in gasoline pushing up the needle... The described above is a fact. but theres one variable that affects the real world function of this mechanism. and thats how deep into the fuel is the float. That stablishes how much FORCE is the needle aplying to the SEAT....and if there is enough to actually SEAL TIGHT before it floods....Made a graphic to ilustrate...
  22. I agree with the brake....I can leave it stock, But what about the clutch??? I really dont like it beign so far, working it with my finger extended seem very unprecise and tyreing for me....
  23. Hi guys, its been 2 days since i ride this no-seat bikes and find really uncomfortable with stock levers, specially the clutch... Ive been riding bycicle trials, stunting sportbikes and riding enduro with chopped levers. where I just operate the levers with my index finger... Pros that found are... -You dont pinch your other 3 fingers with the lever -As you will be woriking the lever closer to the bar, with almost a closed fist stance. wou will be using a stronger muscle group (1st flange, rather than 2nd and 3rd for non chopped) for working the clutch and front brake gives you less cramps and is more precise to control under stressful rides -Lowers the chance of a broken lever (less profile to catch them or or hit them against something and if happens less leverage means less chance to brake them) -Less weight -Looks nice. I havnt found ANY CONS...that stops me from chopping my levers also in my trials bike... And as im new to this id like you guys to tell me if theres any REAL WORLD reason to leave them stock.... (And please dont tell me i can stab myself with the pointy ball-less lever :D ) This is the stock setup of the bike.... Now, lets imagine you grab the bars and prepare to operate those levers... When yo pull in... (imagine green bars as fingers and red arrows as force vectors, Red lines indicate lever travel stops) ...If you clutch in hard or brake in really hard you will end pinching your fingers, and in the case of the brake, limiting the the travel hence power!) And this is what happens with CHOPPED LEVERS under the same conditions... If anyone is using this, i would like to know....If theres any reason i shouldnt do this i also want to know...
  24. I got bad news.... With little fuel on the tank (when i fixed the problem a couple days ago) it worked propperly, but yesterday i topped the tank and kept doing the same bogging overflowing thing.... I guess it needs a little less "level" so the float, actually floating on the gas will have more leverage to propperly push the needle against the seat, sealing tight even with the pressure generated by the gravity of those 2.6 liters of fuel on the tank... Its sunday midday... ill take a cocoa to be calm, then im heading to the workshop to fix this...(or at least try)
  25. Glad im not alone... But hope to get some more skills...
