  1. Wow...lots of activity lateley... Riding with elephants must be rad!!! Id love to prance around those landscapes (in an armored 6x6)
  2. I knew.!!! Im 26 and been messing around cutting stuff and making inventions since i was born... The problem is the gas was generated when barnish sticking to the walls of the drum tokk heat.... Ill keep cutting drums that contained no explosive stuff inside... NO WAY!!! If my brand new 2-wheeled-girlfriend falls inbetween those logs and scratches id have a heart attack!!! Lets keep it safe and easy....at least until i can put my wheel where i want to Spectators here is not a problem... Backfliping is all about balls... I know its a stunt ill never perform, unless i set my mind to it really hard...A foampit would be really helpful....
  3. Keep up the good work Mok, It must be really scary...goinf to the trials meca :S Bet kids ares born with a trials bike in there ajajajaj
  4. Maybe yes...but the problem is that the barnish jelly...when heated generates fumes, so... I think those barrels wint be cuttes anymore....
  5. My god...that sculpture must woth millions :D And that training course id getting intrincate :S mmmmmmmm Avoid cutting drums with barnish in them...
  6. A friend of mine brought a couple mini spools...and my uncle raised the bet with another 200lt barrel :D Ill pay someone to cut it for me i guess jajajaja Pics when daylight is here
  7. Now that you mentioned it Zippy...im also using a cream with silver or something in it... Its called PLATSUL-A ...In spanish Silver = PLATA...PLAT... And SUL its because the active component is Silver Sulphadiazyne, it also has Vitamin A and Lydocaine on it (anesthesic) and other anti-bacterial stuff for sure... Those blisters were much worse... now they are shrinking... or healing ive been told... Some blisters around my neck and forehead popped and skin pealed off... They told me 15 to 20 days to heal... If my EVO is ready next week the real torture eill last a week or two (having a dream bike, brand new without the possibility of riding it :S) Meanwhlie ill try to get some more obstacles...
  8. Everything depends on usage i guess... My enduro is washed every time i use it (otherwise it isnt allowed inside the warehouse) Air filter is washed (foamy element) and oil sprayed in chain and movements withouth shielding... Riding in a rocky envyroment it would be any trouble to leave the air filter alone maybe 10 rides or more... But over here, its dustland
  9. About the bike, i couldn resist and phoned my friend today... Hes going to check how is the build going next week, so maybe....mayyybeeee...it will be ready. About my accident injuried... They are healing well, doesnt hurt or bothers me at all.... The ****iest part is my hand in between my fingers, real deep and delicate, must take care of that to avoid infections but its supposed to be OK in 2 or 3 weeks... My neck is healing OK... not too deep... and my face shows darker coloration and skin is falling off but its just cosmetic. For the clinically interested or for the morbid users, some pics of the progression.... It wont be comfortable to clutch in for a while i guess....
  10. Nice riding, a suicide suggestion.... Phone cabin ---> Sidehop ---> Roof????
  11. A carburation tip i suggest Mok.... Even when your spark plug lecture is correct.... Each stuff you modify will affect ALL points of the rev range but mostly like this... Low end = Pilot Jet Middle = Needle High end = Main jet If your bike is running rich it would be a good idea to check your air filter, if its dirty or maybe too oiled or degrading it restricts air from flowing freely and causes the bike to run rich...Try the filter before messing with your carburation setup, also putting in a new spark plug would be a good idea... If the spark isnt as good as needed it will run rich. In 2 strokes, fuel - oil mixture also has a lot to do... After all that blah blah...its better to let the bike running a bit rich... irs easier on the engine...
  12. No news about the bike... I dont want to be calling them everyday... No motivation to have it sitting in my livingroom i cant use it now!!! But hey.... healed a lot overnight... i got a bad spot beteenn my fingers and another not as bad in my neck.... I bet ill be slicing barrells again in a couple weeks
  13. In Argentina...if you hit somebody with your car, or motorcycle... and leave the injuried person there... AND THEY FIND YOU... there are huge chances of you, going to jail several years... its called "Abandono de Persona" (Persons abandon or something like that)
  14. Damn... wish i had a bike, and those places to ride..
  15. Mok... to post a video get a link starting with HTTP:// (not https) and write... [me dia]PASTE LINK HERE[/me dia] ( i put spaces in between so the forum doesnt hide the code... its media and /media between [ ]
  16. Guys, i got good and bad news... in fact... its mostly bad news .... I was working on the training course obstacles when i had an accident... i was chopping a couple 44 gallon barrels...to make the tractor tyre platforms stiffer... i cutted the first one, no prob...but when i tried to cut the second... DISASTER..... That second drum contained some kind of dried barnish that when heated produced an explosive gas... it blew up right on me... it was like a flash, i dropped the grinder, tried to run and in the first step i made... BOOM! A small video (sorry in spanish) and some pics will be more ilustrative... The aftermath.... Recovery aids from my Mom, Dad, Uncles
  17. I have all the time in the world... But they (Beta) insisted on assembling the bike at their shop... Hope they do it right!
  18. Progressing real fast!!! When comes the first video edit??? :D
  19. Not motorcycle trials yet, but... It gets close, not really brillant pics but something to show you guys my weekend ride.... As I told before, it was a little show at a school, celebrating Children´s Day... (3rd Augusts Sunday... Its like that over here) Dont laugh at my face please jajajajaja
  20. Had a little biketrials demonstration today, it was at a primary school in Santa Fe.. When the action ended i took a couple spools back to my own spot 100kms with those stuff in the back People looked at me funny
  21. Forever alone LIKE ME!!!! Beign so unique also makes this special in a weird manner... Feels awkward, when noone understands why you want a stack of pallets to practice with a motorcycle... A guy even asked if i was going to "FENCE" the track jajajajaja I want my bike here... NOW!!!! Theyre starting to assemble it on tuesday... i bet id have it ready overnight
  22. I think im the only person in the planet thinking about an XR200 as a serious enduro tool... Everyone looks at me funny or think im beign sarcastic when i affirm its a great bike!!! The destructive way up video you were talking about And a full lap in a track improvised at the local junkyard, right after it was complete...(I wasnt too fast now that i see it in detail, now after riding the same place a couple times a week for two months times are getting down, risk of injury getting up but its not as fun as when it was almost unknown ) . Sucks to live here Mok...Competitions would be too much asking but it would be nice to have a place to ride and a couple friends to go out and play with seatless bikes...
  23. Been busy today, sun went down when i was done bolting those platforms to the tyres, its not firm, ill have to put somwthing underneath... (maybe a sawed in half 200lt barrell?)
  24. Mok!! (like to call you like that hope it doesnt bother you ) I stunted almost 200kgs sportbikes, i think it just gave rear brake and stoppie idea that i can translate to handle a trials motorcycle... What i belive gives a real advantage is to ride biketrials... Its like a sixth sense, and i would recommend you, your son and everyone... to get a bicycle as an additional training... My obstacle size/shape is based mostly in my enduro skills as a reference... I can go over, jump, drop, climb... rather respectable obstacles with my 110kg XR200 (wich brakes, engine and suspension sucks)... I imagine a under-the-knee tyre with a platform on top to be a piece of cake to clear with a trials specific motorcycle... The same with some stacked pallets or a couple sleepers... I bet things will get harder when obstacles get over the bars, but as i sad before... I never ridden a trials motorcycle before so who knows... Ill may end up lowering tha bar to start out almost flat, os the opposite stacking things up to make it more challenging... Only time will answer you (and me ) that question... If I learnt something in my years of "extreme" sports is that the biggest obstacle is ALWAYS your mind... You might get hurt really bad often if you lose ALL your fear and precautions but with the same level of skills you could do lots of amazing stuff... When training, the best is to be always pushing the limit... Always doing something youre not 100% comfortable with. Youll do it so many times and in different body/mind conditions that it will get natural... Then when you got it "on lock" you can raise the bar, sepparate the gaps, hit that taller rock, drop from the neghbors garage roof or go tease the lions to run after you.... just for fun.... Any ideas, suggestions, advice on obstacles, size, shape, location, placing....is highly welcome guys...Thanks for the support. ABOUT THE BIKE: My friend called me today, he talked with the guys at Beta...and told him the bike is entering the workshop to be assembled next tuesday...
