  1. At a stoplight, with my enduro bike. Late for something, saving the day in that move.
  2. THOSE ROCKS ROCK! Ill try to avoid permanent heavy obstacles, besides a car, which is my childhood fantasy... Go over a car with a motorcycle is rad jajaja
  3. Well they guys at Beta, called me today... They are sending me the account for the payment and the bike will be ready soon... (paperwork)... I already have the training spot... A friend of mine gave me a place he owns 20x60 meters... 2 street entrance, in the middle of a residential area jajaja (sorry for the neighbors tho) As soon as i got my bike on my way...ill start building. Pallets, Sleepers that are already there... A car i can jump over... maybe somw drums... Photos of your training spots would be appreciated...
  4. I think the main problem you have is the float... Id recommend taking the carburetor off the bike...dissasembly, clean and pressure clear all the tiny holes on it... then reassembly checking everything is OK.... pay major attention on the float needle... if its an old bike might not seal due to worn rubber cone seal... ifthe bikes been stored for a long time... before assembling the carb into the bike again, clean fuel tank and clean or replace fuel hoses and fuel filter (if any).... The simptom youre describing tells me the bike is running rich.... Thry the described above and cleaning/replacing the air filter (a low airflow from the air filter may result in the bike running rich also)
  5. Nice... Will try to get something similar over here (from an ATV or Jetski maybe?)
  6. Im planing to make a Thread... Including the complete bike history...and my intromission into motorcycle trials...ill post then my progress, practice playground build and my general idea of building up something worth-watching.. I come from Professional Stuntriding (Showed off with a BMW F800st and an ATV for a living the last 5 years!!!). I do this for pure passion, but if I can turn trials riding into a show I can sell, travel, make friends and learn even more...that would be great!!! Some vids from shows (and other stuff) www.youtube.com/xeriotti
  7. Hell Yeah!!! Going for the SIDIs Beta Argentina is bringing me an EVO 300 2013... should be here by the first days of august... Im really excited about it
  8. Whats the red stuff hanging from your left wrist??? Cuts off the engine if you pull??? Comes stock with the bike??? (Beta Evo right?)
  9. SIDI looks sleeker... and are resolable which is important as i dont have acces to any trials gear other way than buying online from abroad.., Astars are easier to sell because of more recognised brand over here...But i think that anyways I think im going for the SIDIS... anyone had a bad experience??? My first ever trials motorcycle should be arriving soon... Ill be practicing on artificial trials, pallets, tyres and soft stuff i can find that doesnt hurt me or the bike in my first rides where ill be highly dumb....No mud, No water, Not much dirt... Hope not to need much protection (hope not to bail often)... SIDI Trial Zero is my choice. TALK NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE.... (Save me from going the wrong way if needed . )
  10. Hi guys, ill soon be ordering a pair of specific trials boots, and i want to know your opinion... Im in the market for the boot with maximum FEEL and CONTROL when riding.. Been staring at the SIDI Trial Zero and Astars No Stop as main options... Opinions, Comparission on both.... I mentioned this two for their killer looks and recognised brand, but if you have any others suggestions im here to learn and your advice is welcome..
  11. Enduro Cross.... no such things over here... I live in the middle of nothingness...
  12. I hope it opens my mind... Dropping like 50kgs of bike sure will help ...If it takes longer...i will nee no EVO for trials!!! Just the XR!!!
  13. I realise its not the cleanest way up that ledge, but... Its an XR200!!! I think im pushing the bike a bit... and getting good results. How far into trialsy riding can the XR be taken? I dont know...but im having loads of fun attempting to clear stuff with this dinosaur!!!
  14. Ive watched a lot of videos these last weeks... but it seem to be either silly obstacles i could clear with my enduro XR200.... or really scary and technical stuff... What i want to know is what you guys would build to hace fun and practice
  15. I think theres no chance i use the Sexy Uniform... At least while im a begginer (Then, when you ripp it off... you can wear whatever you want ) I need some real trials boots...and a real helmet... Im from Argentina, but stuff from the UK are getting here fast via FEDEX... any trustable online shop over there?
  16. And what about the boots!!?' And the Sexy uniform?
  17. My idea is to start out with low stuff to get used to the bike handling, hoping front, rear, on the rear, fet up stuff thats bike-friendly...pallets, tyres and things like that... when i get the idea on how to put the bike where i want, going bigger is a matter of time and confidence i guess... avoid pointy, sharp, harder-than-the-bike-and-myself obstacles for safety purposes...
  18. Hi everyone!... Long story short, Ive been riding biketrials since i was a teenager and stunting sportbikes for 7 years, I have the trials motorbike itch installed in my mind since i knew about its existence. Planets have aligned and im waiting for a Beta EVO 300 2013 as my first real trials motorbike... I have no natural spots to ride here, its all plain-soft ground all around 400kms... So.... Ill have to make my own obstacles... It would help me a lot if you guys could describe, list or post pics of MUST HAVE obstacle to make my learning process as efficient, fun and safe as possible... I have access to pallets, cable drums of all sizes, drums, and used tyres of all sizes.. I know how to use a shovel, powertools and have a truck available 24/7 to haul, pull and stuff like that... Im gonna build the spot in some no-mans-land location... so, theres no problem with space... Be creative, Post pics, It will be really helpful for me!!! Thanks in advance!!!
  19. Hi everyone... Im about to start riding motorcycle trials and over here theres no much options when it comes to trails-specific-gear... Im mainly talking about Helmets and Boots.... is there any other option you think would worth trying... For example a BMX/skate helmet???... Those are pretty lightweight and offer "some" protection... I have no ideas to replace a soft, light trials boot... Anyone riding with some weird stuff i can find over here???
  20. This is what i do while i wait for my REAL trials motorbike...Finally declined on buying a used, old and love starved 90s bike...and heases the expensive way.. I have some conections from my Professional Stuntriding background with Beta Argentina... So they are giving me an EVO 300 2013 brand new at their resellers price... Its supposed to arrive at the begginings of august.... So im having some fun pushing myself into uncomfortable riding with my enduro beater XR200... Its lame, but its this... or my trials bicycle!!! At least until i get my EVO ... I may edit somthing with more stuff i can clear with this 115kgs rockhopper wannabe... Some logs, drops and gaps are not diffiult once you get used to it.. Cant wait to have a real trials machine... Ill sleep with it!!! http://youtu.be/A7yIlsWjmtQ And some more anxiety relief... Weekend ride in Santa Fe.
  21. I think i took a decision based on your comments and some chat with spanish co-forumeer... Ill go for a 2013 EVO 300.... May our sons forgive us :D
  22. Thats_a_five!!! Your totally right!!! its a 94 JT25 ... Its older than i thought.... and heavier...and bulkyer... I got totally cold about the GG... The Jt25 costs U$S3650... The other bike i can get is a brand new Beta EVO 300 (2013)...I got some contacts from my former job as professional stunt driver.... They offered me the only EVO300 in the entire country at their cost price..7750 dollars... You guys think its worth spending more than twice the money on a new bike for learning the first steps??? Isnt the JT25 too old, heavy and outdated? ... . WHAT I MEAN.... IS AN EVO300 2013...twice the bike??? It looks a lot lighter, flickable, trustable....nut...it really is worth twice the JT25?
  23. Any way i can verify the year??? MAybe chasiss number or something??? Any more details I should check on the bike before buying?
