Marky Lovely bike, was that a nut and bolt rebuild? and are they still competitive these days?

After 20 years out of the game, I can't find me NCB wellies, engineers overalls and ratting cap and so am looking carefully at the new lycra stuff. Do they do fat a*** and beer belly sizes? Can you get aftermarket lunchboxes? Merry Christmas to yez all....... :santa1:

After a bit of time out, Im just getting back into trials. Im considering a new bike, but hesitate cos they aint got bleedin seats and only have tiddly tanks FFS! How on earth do you guys do road trials now?? How the ferk do they compete in something like the scottish???? Unless you convince me otherwise, might have to just settle for the twinshock...

SIX FROM THE SCOTTISH - DUKE VIDEO Colour footage from six old Scottish Six days trials events from 1952 up to 1969. Just got my copy and its brilliant, worth a tenner of any trialers money to see the old (in colour and really good quality) footage of all the classic sections. Just makes you realise how tough they were in them days as none of em were teenagers and none had support of any kind. Bike broke on Rannoch Moor, you fixed it or walked. Some well known faces there including Bill Wilkinson, Don Smith, Arthur Lampkin, Sammy Miller, Mick Andrews and a very young Malc Rathmell. Highly recommended for any christmas list.

After a LONG time out of competitive trials, I coming back to have a go at twinshock. My era was 72 - 84 Ive trawled the usual markets in a search for a Fantic 240 / Mont 349 / Maj 320 (ebay, trials central, biketrader) but can anyone suggest other good places to look for such bikes for sale ont'internet or elsewhere........
