    2015 Beta?

Nice but a long wait for a colour change. It's like a modern version of my old 1999 techno colour scheme...

    Fuel Pump Removal

Not much change from £300, think it was 280ish
  6. Yes mark bike is running now, done a few trials since and seems fine. It's a awkward job to do as everything is so tight with little tolerance. It would be very easy to break the fuel outlet pipe on the pump whilst removing/fitting engine, so caution is needed! Lol
  7. Faulty fuel pump. Just on with rebuilding the bike. Fuel pump and assembly is a ktm part. It appears to be a common fault with there bikes too. Tested the old pump once out of bike with a 12v supply and the pump never made a sound but got hot. Fingers crossed it works once rebuilt.......
  8. I currently have an ossa tr280 and thinking of making the move to evo 300. Firstly il ask you guys for honest opinions of the bike, built quality, reliability etc. il be looking at either a 2014 or 15 when they are launched. What front suspension do they use as I'd heard the Piaoli manufacturers had gone bust???
  9. Made a huge difference to mine. Cures the saggy back end and felt much more alive, make trick riding much easier, worth every penny!
  10. What year is the bike? I had a similar rumbling sound on my 2011 Mine required a through bolt fitting on the gear box like the later bikes have to hold it in place. It also starts rumbling a little when the clutch plates are worn and the overall pack size has reduced

    Fuel Pump Removal

I have a faulty fuel pump on my ossa and need to remove and install new part. I believe this means taking the engine out, is it at all possible to change pump without taking engine out? Also I read somewhere that a special tool is required to remove the pump, if so where are these available from? Does anyone know if the ossa fuel pumps are used in any other make bikes
  12. Ah ok I didn't try moving kick start. Another thing I did try though was disconnecting fuel hose off the injector and kicked it over, no fuel came out though
  13. Thanks for reply canada. Iv checked fuel pump connection and cleaned. Tested continuity from the plug upto ecu and appears ok. I connected a 12v battery to capacitor outlet plug as you say but no pump whirring. I didn't move the kick start though, is this needed??
  14. My first post on here and hoping my fellow ossa owners may have some ideas. I have a 2011 280i, I'm having an issue with it starting. It was running fine at a recent trial. I parked bike up, killed engine and went to walk the section. Couple of minutes later came back to the bike and it just wouldn't start I checked plug and have spark, it also runs with a drop of fuel in cylinder until it's burnt off. I'm thinking it's possibly the fuel pump or whatever sends a signal to that. Anyone had this issue or any ideas for cause??
