  6. Scott, Good News! The diesel van is being serviced today and I'm preparing mentaly for my 18 hours of travel. sam
  7. Ishy, I have a firm price set, I do not dare raise the price, I'm hauling BETA's so far and these guys are all bigger than me and absolutely obnoxious! Besides, one of them is a Canadian National Boxing Champion. If I collect enough bikes, maybe I'll just head on over to Oregon and will take up selling used trials bikes, we could accumulate enough funds to scuba the Great North West for a year or two! shercosam
  8. The gas will be split proportionally, 1 more bike will lower price to $120.00, that includes gear etc..... sam 574 536 0176
  9. I'm up to 4 bikes, the more I can haul to split fuel the less it cost! This goes for Trials Incorporated members also, your in my region. sam
  10. I still have room for bikes to be transported to Colorado National. I will depart the Monday prior, questions call. sam 574 536 0176
  11. Thank You for the Reply Ishy, My concern is I'm pulling a 20' trailer with a load of trials bikes behind a Ford maxi van and this dumb van gets stuck very easy. I imagine the parking will be on a rocky solid based type ground. We can arrive on Tuesday, I'm sure? I should have just E-mailed the club with these questions, but the TC board is convenient! sam
  12. Does anyone know what the parking conditions will be like at the Nationals in Colorado? http://www.canoncitycolorado.com/restaurant.aspx

  16. Scott, I have nearly blown a gasket over this subject! As of today, minors who are spectating only need one parent to sign the waiver. Minors that are competing need both parents' signatures on the waiver, as well as the AMA ASSUMPTION OF RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT form filled out and signed! Yesterday (4/2/08), I was told BOTH parents' signatures were needed because the event is OPEN COURSE, meaning spectators are walking on the loop where riders are competing. (MOTOCROSS is closed course racing, which is why this does not apply to motocross). So as of 4/3/08, spectators under the age of 18 just need one parent's signature on the waiver. sam
  17. Update! All minors must have BOTH parents or legal gaurdians signature before allowed on the grounds, whether spectating or riding. I have spoken to the AMA officials via phone and this is there rule! Jan-1-2008. You may obtain the waiver off of the AMA website and have signatures notarized If a parent is not present! http://www.amadirectlink.com/organizers/re...ffRoadMINOR.pdf http://www.amadirectlink.com/organizers/resources/index.asp Any questions please call, Sam Markley 574 536 0176
  18. You are more than welcomed to ride on Friday, I actually have several people arriving to practice and check out the area. sam
  19. Several people from Northern Indiana who rode in the 70's are coming out to watch, One person said it will be like a reunion of trials riders!
  20. No Concession. But we have a couple campfires weather permitting. Nappanee is 15 min away, many choices for food. WARNING: Do not pet the black and white looking cats, they are abundant this year and stinky!
  21. Sections are done and the loop looks fun! The frost has left the ground and actually dried out immensely. We will run 10 sections a day 4 loops, awards are fun and unique. Weather looks good, 50's and a chance of rain, no problem! So far I have people possibly attending who have contacted me from, Windsor, Ontario Wisconsin Illinois Ohio Georgia and of course, Indiana and Michigan. I'm expecting at least 50 riders, but I imagine will exceed 70! Any questions please ask! sam
  22. I'm not Knowledgeable about Vintage classification, I would say twin shocks! Ride either Novice or Intermediate lines. sam
  23. HOTEL INFO! http://www.amishacres.com/ The Inn in Nappanee is a very nice hotel, 2 king size beds $79.00 a night! The restraunt is awsome and is open on Sundays. This hotel is 15 min. from my property. Check it out if you bring family members that like to shop! sam
  24. Just want to mention that several people who attend Trials Incorporated events have contacted me about the comp, we should have a good attendance. Also, I have had a few trials riders from back in the 70's in Northern Indiana showing interest in riding the event, I'm amazed how many Vintage bikes are stashed away in the local area. Reminder to all! AMA demands BOTH parents or legal gaurdians sign waiver for minors that compete, I highly suggest obtaining the AMA competition card for minors, this eleminates paper work! Also, I will have bike wash available!
