  1. Thanks for all the techniques
  2. What can be used to temporarily seal the bead while installing new tire on a tubless rear tire. I've seen jitsie sells a Oring foam thing but no dealers seem to carry it. Old
  3. Yes they did. Have not had a chance to ride it yet. BetaUsa has been great. The problem lies with the local dealer. The bike does start and run. Need to take it out for a real ride though. Old
  4. Unfortunately me and my dealer have issues. I will just flush it out. Old
  5. Just got my bike back from the shop. Mechanic put some kind of red coolant inside. Anyone know the manufacturer of red coolant? Old

My local shop says when he does the top end he will not reinstall the jitsie aluminum water pump. He says it is not stock and could affect the warranty . But that kit is sold On betausa' website. Is he right? Old

My dealer and Tim have decided to replace the cylinder. I'm very happy on that decision. It shows the kind of company they are by standing behind their product. I understand that every now and than something will slip by QC but they are doing the right thing. Another win in BETA's court. Ted

Thanks for the replies. I have voiced my concerns to tim p. I also believe they should just replace the cylinder. When you spend $8 grand on a new bike there should be no defects, especially on the cylinder. Even if that hole is not responsible who knows what other defects that cylinder has. Will keep you updated on this. Ted

Yes it has 2 part cylinder head. Thinking maybe crack in cylinder from casting defect related to hole in outer cylinder or out of spec mating surfaces? Does the compression dome have to be sealed too? Ted

Well the foam is back, emailed Betausa that I would like to have the cylinder replaced. I don't know whats causing the foam. Should I replace the compression dome? if that was warped would that be causing the foaming in the radiator? Old

Question, is the air box subframe solid aluminium? Wanted to add a lifting strap to the rear fender bolts. Old
  15. Sorry it's put back together. I'm just going to ride it. Old
